A familiar male voice drifted through the trees. Maybe it was... No. I can't think that, cause if I'm wrong, my heart might be broken.

At that last line, I knew who it was.
"Dipper! You can come out now." I called into the darkness. He stepped out of the shadows, grinning.

"Yeah. It's cool." I replied.
"Well then I'll keep going." He said.

I smiled at him. He really was kind of a scaredey cat. I pointed the flashlight I had brought at him like a spotlight, and he just kept going.

I thought about that. What could be out to get me?

That whole 'this magic is tragic' caught my attention, so I almost didn't hear the last line. But I did. And my heart melted. And I made him feel safe. Oh my goddess, did he feel the same way?
