I know a lot of people think the Cullen family could beat Harry, Ron and Hermione in a battle. I have read both series, and I realize that the Cullens have super speed and super strength. However, I do not think that the Cullens would stand a chance against the Trio.

Let's look back at the battle history of each...

The Cullens:
- They defeated James in the first book. However, there was only one of him and there were five of them, I believe? So that really isn't saying much.

- They defeated a band of immature vampires with no fighting skills in Eclipse. They went in knowing they would win because of the fact the vamps they were fighting had no skills whatsoever in fighting. Again, not a big deal.

- At the end of Breaking Dawn, they were finally going to battle someone that would be somewhat of a challenge to them. So, what happens? They gather an army, and they talk. That's it. They let the supposedly evil vampires just walk away and continue to be unjust. Um, does this strike anybody else as cowardly?

The Trio:
- Robbed Gringotts Wizarding Bank, which has never been done before, and all past wizards who have attempted have failed. I'd say that in itself is pretty impressive. But wait! There's more!

- Saved the Sorcerer's (Philosopher's) Stone from the clutches of Quirrel and, ultimately, Voldemort. You know how old they were when they did this? Eleven! How many eleven year olds do you know who could do anything like that?

- Saved Ginny and the rest of the school from the horrors within the Chamber of Secrets (the Basilisk and Voldemort)

- Helped Sirius escape the clutches of the Ministry and defied hundreds of dementors. Only very skilled wizards can even produce a Patronus! Harry, at the age of 13, defied hundreds of them!

- Survived (and won) the Triwizard Tournament against witches and wizards older and more advanced than Harry. This includes stealing an egg from a dragon, saving Ron from the merpeople and surviving the maze of doom (that is what I call it.)

- Faced of Voldemort unexpectedly and survived to tell the tale. At age 14.

- With friends (Neville, Ginny, Luna), escaped the clutches of the Death Eaters at the Department of Mysteries (MUCH more exciting in the book than the movie, just so you know)

- Collected and destroyed Voldemort's horcruxes

- Escaped with their lives from the Death Eaters on various occasions

- Final Battle: gathered an army and actually fought the Death Eaters. They suffered from loss, sacrifice and pain, but they did not give up and they did not give in. It was quite an intense battle, but in the end, Molly Weasley defeated Bellatrix single handedly, Neville killed off Nagini to make it possible to defeat Voldemort, and Harry went and defeated him single handedly as well.

- Many, many more things as well. If I list them, it will take forever. If you want to find out more, read the books.

So, looking at their accomplishments, do you really think the Cullens would have the slightest chance against the Trio? I think not.
PREFACE - THE JEALOUS-FALLACY IN ITS MANY FORMS

Alright, I have already dissected one very common fallacy invoked by some Twilight fans and a few Harry Potter fans as well, the Edward-fallacy. I shall not discuss that one but instead I will be moving on and examine another common fallacy invoked by some fans, using what I believe is the two most common forms of it.

"YOU ARE JUST JEALOUS, THEREFORE YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID"

Firstly, let us examine the logical reasoning behind "You are just jealous, therefore your argument is invalid".
It is invoked when any fan post an argument and employes this...

1. It has better writing.
2. It's plotline is better.
3. I'd rather read a book about a teenage boy going to a wizardry school and fighting a dark sorceror than one about a ditzy girl who's way too obsessed with her sparkly boyfriend.
4. The characters are more relateable.
5. J.K. Rowling is not afraid to kill off plenty of good guys.
6. Most of the characters' educations actually matter to them.
7. It doesn't have thousands of rabid fangirls.
8. The characters are more three-dimensional.
9. It stays true to mythology.
10. It has more types of love in it, not just romantic and sexual love (or should...

first off i would like to say that i used to like t but everyone ruined it.

hp is so much better because its about friendship and standing up for your self it shows fear and judement and kind and tenderness which in twilight its just about useing people to benifit you and doin iti mean in twilight, it takes edward and bella what a week to fall in love it takes ron and herimone over 7 years and harry starts to relize he loves ginny after 5 years! and not to mention hp is fun for everyone some people might be afraid of the fact of a man eating vampire watching them not knowing when there going to attack out of hunger. so when you "twilight" fans find some real evidence that twilight has any real moral to it let me know cause i really like to know wat you think. or just comment on this article PEACE, sy-sy

This is not my opinion. It's an excerpt from an article titled link. I have however come across a few people who have voiced the same thing. Just curious to know people's thought on this.

Kenny Herzog

I’ve read all of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books—devoured them, really, because whatever her flaws, the lady does a terrific job at building compulsive narratives and enjoyable worlds. But the more time I spend away from the series, the more its problems get to me, and the biggest problem of them all is the main character himself. Harry is, to put it kindly, an absolute no one. He suffers...

Here is an 5 Part Essay wriiten by someone on livejournal that proves Edward isnt abusive.
-------------------------------------------------

I have been having feelings of guilt off and on about shipping Edward and Bella. I'm sure the majority of us Twilight fans of have heard about the accusations of Edward being an abusive boyfriend. The accusers are able to back it up with proof of certain behaviors that count as abuse that you can read off of a red flag list. What they refuse to do though is look at the big picture. All they see is the surface and refuse to ask why. They even go to such far...
