I think JKR would've made more of a big deal of it if it was Bellatrix who killed him because she's such a hated/loved Death Eater....

Good point, but neville had the most history with her. I think Neville should have killed her, but failing that, Percy. He was one who was showing the most emotion over Fred's death.

I have seen this at multiple sources (yes, I googled it) and I would've looked up the passage in my book, but I'm away from home and don't have it with me. But I'm 99.9999999999999999999999999999% positive that Bellatrix did *not* kill Fred!!

Okay, good. Then it should have been Neville, no contest. He could finish his parent's work by killing Bellatrix, and start his own life by killing the snake.

rox, I agree with you :) I used to think that Harry should kill Bellatrix because of Sirius, but then I decided that he gets enough of the glory, and Neville should get his share

Molly probably just didn't know yet how Fred died, or she's thinking of how Bellatrix *tried* to kill her children loads of times, or she's thinking of Bellatrix trying to harm Harry a lot and Molly is like Harry's surrogate mother. I don't know. But I'm just saying it one more time, Bellatrix didn't kill any of the Weasleys :)

I think that Mrs. Weasley was saying that because she wass still so angry that her son was dead, and for all she knew, Bellatrix had killed him. Bellatrix had caused their whole family a lot of grief. She nearly killed Ron at the Malfoys. And she is poking fun at Mrs. Weasley's crushing grief. I think it was an explosion of emotion.

Where? All the places I've read say it was a explosion caused (most likely) by Rookwood...
