I'm slightly disappointed, but I also get what the writers were doing by breaking the assumption that male and female characters can only care for each other if they're actually in love with each other. But then it also feels like they're saying that they had to reveal that he was married to break the ship, and it made me feel a bit guilty for having shipped them in the first Avengers film.... and from the little I've seen, it seems like they're shipping Natasha with almost everyone. It's confusing.

I was just slightly disappointed and surprised when I first watched. I've become a stronger Clintasha fan and dislike it more since, mainly because I've learned that Laura doesn't exist at all in the comics and was just created to block the ship.
