Dalton Beckett is best described by the following phrase: A cool, calm, collective, free-lance spell-sword. He's a eighteen year-old, 6'1, pale, slender but muscled, son of Hecate, legacy of Circe, Englishman with hair that's about a month out of buzz cut and stubble lining his subtle jawline. He has dark blue eyes that dance with a almost sarcastic amusement when interested, as if he finds the fact something has dared to not reveal it's secret's to him funny. The behavior exhibited by him is bereft of the arrogance of the previous statement but entirely encapsulates the interest based personality Dalton function's on. He has a similar outfit to Jake, Long black jacket, black vest over grey dress shirt, black dress pants, leather shoes. Where this outfit differs from Jake's is that it's fully ready for combat, reinforced with chain mail and lowing with magical energy, in combat it becomes emblazoned with runes.

In many ways Dalton Beckett is a enigma to the high class demi-gods for the ways he is common. He uses only two weapon's in combat consistently: A modified version of a Dha. It's a one-handed Asian semi-curved sword with a minimal hand guard. Unlike the generic Dha it has a red leather grip instead of a wood and metal one in addition it is also fairly longer then a standard Dha, instead of a 2:1 ratio for blade to hilt it's 2.55:1 specifically to keep up pressure at long range. It's made of Sorcerer's Silver, one of the few metal's that can be a catalyst for spells and thus is extremely rare, used most commonly by the highest ranking children of magic. He keep's it near his person at all times, generally slung over his shoulder enchanted with hidden weapon so it can not be seen. The other weapon is a Sorcerer's catalyst which allows his to cast complex spells. It's made of Selenium stem, not to be confused with the scientific element it was one of the tree's blessed by the moon when Selene was still it's master, similar to some of Calypso's plants it only grew in the moonlight. Able to stand up to metal in a pinch and complete with a Opal gem at the top it's a one of a kind weapon.

Dalton's abilities are varied indeed dabbling is a formidable caster but accompanying that is his proficiency with blades, stave's and unarmed for a truly fearsome fighter. He has three combat styles: Long distance surrounded by swirling runes and holographic guards. Medium distance where the rune shield dissipates and a bit and more holographic blasts are use and his weapon's are drawn. Short distance where he charges covered by spells and can even go unarmed and harden his skin depending on the agility of his opponent. Short range form is like a flamethrower, keeping the opponent moving and never letting them settle. Medium range focus more on the transition from long to short and multiple opponent's. A good example of how he fights in this form is a Umbrakinesis spell called "Abyssal bead roulette." where dozen's of projectile orbs of dark energy blast everything around the caster. Finally there is long range form which makes Dalton like a walking artillery cannon. Fully enveloped by runes anything in front of him is obliterated under the force of his immense concentration, the weakness of this form is removed when he's protected by others and standing still doesn't become a problem.

On the rare occasion's Dalton is in camp he is the Hecate cabin's second in command, not because he couldn't be first but because he is as stated above rarely at camp. Another person in the same apartment as Franklin Forsythe and Jake Patrick when not in camp half-blood or on a job. What does he do for a job, you say? Whatever he wants, naturally. He serves to bridge the gap between his room mates by seeing both sides of the coin, being practical or being a thrill seeker. Most of the time when relaxing he'll sit by a land-line phone in the apartment sifting through the trash jobs to something interesting. It's reminiscent of Dante in the original Devil may cry games, feet on desk, eating food, staring uninterestedly at the roof. Free of all rules he does as he pleases.

That is in essence what Dalton Beckett is, a semi-professional mage killing monster's and sending messages for university money. Not quite Glenn from the walking dead but pretty similar, apart from the well............ you'll find out. A classy gentleman, a scholar, a warrior.
