...I still am excited for the new season. I think it is a beautiful style of artwork that they have used. ;u; But I respect your opinion.over a year ago
I say, just watch and actually see how much they have screwed it up. They can really kill something, just by changing something a little. And they have really suck Hetalia's ship. You can't use that type of style for an anime, period. For a manga, fine. But NOT for a freakin anime. It looks way to flat, way to series, way to manga, and way to fanart.over a year ago
I know this isn't necessarily Hetalia related... But I'd just like to point out what's happening in Canada. ON Dec 4, Canada had 5 million protected lakes and rivers. On Dec. 5 it had 82. This greatly effects First Nations, our treaties, and even the rest of the world. Please look it up. I can tell you more, if you'd like... Idle no more!

I think it is good to discuss things about what is going on in our world! It's kinda weird how it went from 5 million to 82 in so little time?!over a year ago

Is it okay to post fanfiction somewhere in this club? If so, could someone please tell me where? I'm not too sure how this site works.

A popular member of the Hetalia community, Jessie Winterholler, who ran a 2p!france ask blog, ask-2pFrance on tumblr, was hit by a car and died Friday, December 7th. The whole fandom is mourning her. Please keep her and her family in your hearts and prayers. I had the honor of speaking to her a few times and I really enjoyed her artwork. I will miss you Jessie, you will be in my heart.
We will miss you Jessie, your 2p!France and artwork inspired all of us. R.I.P our fellow Hetalian.

You know, I've always been curious...how would wars be portrayed in different countries?
For example, American textbooks always portray Britain as harsh and cruel in the American Revolution, but what does it look like in a British textbook?
What does the Opium War look like in a British textbook? What does it look like in a Chinese one?
And what about the Cold War?
The World Wars?
It would be interesting to see textbooks from different countries and compare them to one another.
Posted over a year ago
^ Well, yes, wars are gloomy. But I was just curious to see how they're portrayed in different countries, because wars are an important part of history, and they're most likely going to be in most textbooks. I'm not a big fan of war, though.over a year ago
That's what I'd been wondering too while reading our own history. But you know, some scholars here admit that afterall the *think of a eupehemistic description* bad things that the Spaniards did, they're actually more humane compared to other the Imperialists. But when UK occupied our capital for a short period, the Filipinos at that time thought it would have been better if they take over us instead of being handed over again to the Spaniards.over a year ago
And if the Imperialists are supposed to be described as mean, we ll, in Philippine history textbooks US is hailed as hero (not in the beginning of American colonial era though but in the WWII era)... There's the oft mentioned quote by Gen. MacArthur: "I shall return"... *a promise to come back and help Philippines* ... Ay, americans always does it "the hero" way....over a year ago
