How did you discover "Hotarubi no Mori e"?

hmm, i am not really sure...i just bumped across a pic from the anime and saved it on my comp as a "to watch anime" and so i eventually watched it !! ;)
oh, and later on i heard that its super sad (love sad animes)

Well, I watched Natsume Yuujinchou and loved it (it's now my second favourite anime); when I finished it, I still longed for more, so I looked up the manga writer to see what else she'd written. Hotarubi no Mori e was the only thing on the list - apart from Natsume Yuujinchou - that had been made into an anime. I watched it. It was... the most moving thing I had ever seen. I cried. And I don't usually cry at things like that.
