Cal Lightman and Gillian Foster walked up to a small Victorian house. There were many people milling around the area, including a FBI worker named Seeley Booth, and forensic anthropologist named Temperance Bones. Boones and Booth were talking to each other, both gesturing towards a decaying body on the lawn.
“Why are we here?” Dr. Foster asked Cal, looking around.
“There was a kidnapped victim with the dead body and we need to question her about the murderer,” Cal answered, walking towards Booth and Bones. “Hello,” Cal smiled at them. Bones smiled sweetly back at Cal, looking him from head to toe. Foster looked jealously at Bones, and then looked at Booth, who was eyeing her over greedily.
“I’m Temperance Bones and this is Seeley Booth,” Bones said, shaking Cal’s hand for a little longer than necessary.
“I work for the FBI,” Booth told Foster, smiling at her and taking a step towards her. Foster took a step back.
“We should go question the victim,” Foster said, grabbing Cal’s arm and pulling him away from Bones and Booth.
“I’ll see you again,” Cal called out to Bones, who smiled happily, and Foster dragged him away. As Foster and Call reached the girl, Kathy, she was sitting on the steps, frowning.
“Kathy, this is Dr. Lightman and I’m Dr. Foster,” Foster announced. Kathy looked away. “We need to ask you some questions about the murderer and the person who kidnapped you,” Kathy said nothing. She held her stomach.
“Is something wrong?” Cal asked. Kathy shook her head.
“Do you know the name of-,” Foster began to question, but Kathy started to seize uncontrollably. She fell down on the steps and shook on the sidewalk. Kathy was seizing so hard she was hitting her head on the concrete, and blood rolled down her face.
“I need some help over here!” Cal called, and Booth and Bones ran over to the group. Policemen who were investigating the crime scene ran over to Kathy.
“What’s wrong with her?” One policeman asked. Everyone shook their heads in confusion.
“Take her to Princeton-Plainsboro Hospital. Dr. Gregory House will find out what’s wrong with her,” another police man solemnly said.
