Silly question...How old are House and Cuddy? do we know that?

Ladies and gentlemen, we now enter the Twilight Zone!
According to Wilson in s3 (Top Secret I think), House back then was 45, so logically he is now 48-49. According to Cuddy in "The Social Contract", she was 38 in s5 so again logically now she must be 39-40. Let's not forget that the show goes one year behind real time so our 2010 is their 2009 etc.

BUT and this is a big BUT, in s1 Vogler said that House had been working for Cuddy for 8 years and because she became Dean of Medicine at the age of 32, logically(I hate that word) she was 40 back in s1. House also mentioned that Cuddy was in her forties in "Fetal Position" and she didn't argue about that. In "Knight Fall", House also says that she knew Wilson when he was abandoned by Sam which doesn't make sense with the Wilson's backstory unless of course Cuddy met Wilson when she was 19-20(?). According to Doris Egan's personal blog, House didn't go to medical school right away, he got expelled from John Hopkins and then went to Michigan where he met undergraduate Lisa Cuddy so again logically they should have had 7-8 years difference with each other. So take your pick, choose whatever age you like because trying to make sense of the timeline in the House universe is the same as trying to explain the chaos theory.

Cuddy's current age is not clear. She has been House's boss for at least 8 years now. She is not terribly younger than House (House was repeating his last year of medicine at the University of Michigan while Cuddy was an undergraduate). In the Season 5 episode The Social Contract, she claimed to be 38, while House corrected her - he thinks she's 40. House has previously described her as "pushing forty". However, House had been working for Cuddy prior to the beginning of Season 1, and Cuddy claims House owes her 6 years of clinic duty in the show's pilot which indicates that she was 38 when the show started, putting her current age at 43, closer to Lisa Edelstein's actual age.

House is 51 yrs old.

Well Hugh Laurie is 51 and Lisa Edelstein is 44 so I'm guessing the characters are around that age. I think Cuddy is 40. In the season 5 episode The Social Contract she says she is 38 so I'm guessing she's about 40. House... I have no idea.

Well in Season 2 Episode 24, when House was shot, his hospital band is the exact same date as Hugh Laurie's birthday which would now make him 51.
In Season 5 Episode 17 Cuddy said she was 38.
But the timeline/ages of the characters changes all the time on House so we can really be sure how old anyone is :S

According to the House wiki, We don't know exactly how old is Cuddy. She was born in 1966 or 1969 or 1971. The description says that she states somewhere in the show that she is 38 but House says she's 40. So now she is either 39, 41 or 44.
House's 51, his birthday was on the 11th of June.

House is 51 that is certainty true because his got the same birth date as Hugh. Well Cuddy told House in episode "social contract" that she is 38... it was about 2 years ago so think she is about 40...(it is one of my favourite scenes :D watch it!)

I also remember another trip we took into the Twilight Zone in season 2. Chase said he was 30 in Autopsy. And if we go with The Social Contract age for Cuddy, that would've made her like 35 or something. And I doubt Chase is that old. He's still a pup. And not necessarly every season is a year. I don't know. I get a migraine everytime I think about this -_-;. But House is Hugh's age. That's what we know for sure. :P
