‘Oh my god Lisa’ She thaught to herself. It must have been wrong so she tried another. After her 3rd one she did a test in the hospital. This one would definitely tell her the truth. She waited for 3 hours and at 2 in the afternoon she ran down in private and checked her results: Positive. Cuddy couldn’t believe it. She had spent so much time and money trying to get pregnant with artificial crap when really all she needed was good ol’ fashion sex. Then it hit her who the father was: House! She was so happy but so horrified at the same time. What was House going to think, would this effect their relationship?…of course it would it’s a damn baby. She had to tell him. She hurried up to his office. “House we need to talk now!” She said frantically. House saw the look on her face and knew it was urgent and important so he sent his team on their way. “Whats the matter cuddles?” He asked. “House I don’t know how to say this. ..Here.” She said handing him the pregnancy test. He read it and his eyes got huge. He sat down on his desk and just stared at the floor. “Are you Ok?” Cuddy asked sitting next to him and rubbing his back. “Am I ok? Are you Ok? You shouldn’t be the one rubbing my back I should be the one rubbing your back. You have a mini devil in you. You have a kid that’s going to have some personality trait like me. I like to call the gene: assmosis.” House said. “Oh. That’s not true. You’re not an ass, and this baby is not going to be an ass. I’m just wondering if you are ok with this. If you are ready for this…I mean ready to be a father.” She said. House looked at her. “I’m ready. Are you?” He asked. Cuddy smiled. “I’m ready.” She said. They sat there in silence for a moment. “House?” Cuddy asked. “Yeah.” “House. We are having a baby.” Cuddy said. House looked at her and smiled. “Cuddy we’re having a baby!” He said getting up. Cuddy was grinning from ear to ear. “I know!” She said getting up. She got up and started to jump with joy and House embraced her in his arms. They both were so happy. House knelt to the ground and took Cuddy’s hand. “Lisa, marry me and have our child?” He asked. Cuddy cried tears of joy. “Yes, of course.” She said. He got up and they shared a kiss. “We have to tell someone.” She said. “Wilson.” House said and they were out the door. They practically skipped their way to Wilson’s office. “Hey Jimmy can you be my best man in our wedding?” House asked walking into Wilson’s room. Wilson jerked his head up from his paperwork in surprise. “Oh yeah and our baby’s godparent as well?” House continued. Wilson jumped up. “What?!” He asked in happy surprisment. Cuddy handed Wilson the pregnancy test. Wilson read it and then looked up at the two of them who were gleaming with joy. Wilson burst out with excitement. “Oh my gosh! Congradulations Lisa and Greg!” Wilson gave House a hug. “Ok. Not really into the whole hug thing.” House said. Wilson smiled and patted his friend on the back and gave Cuddy a hug. “This is unbelievable! This is great you two!” Wilson said. Neither Cuddy nor House had stopped smiling yet. “Well, we’re going to go brag about our little Greg.” House said. “How do you know it is not a little Lisa?” Cuddy asked. “This is going o be great!” Wilson added as House and Cuddy walked out of his office. They went down to the lobby and as they were going by House was acting as Cuddy’s personal body guard. “Move out of the way people. Women and child coming through.” “Move it or lose it. Mini me coming through.” He would say. People would just stare but they didn’t care. They walked into Cuddy’s office. House was being an extreme gentlemen. He held the door for her and got her coat. “Where are we going?” Cuddy asked. “Well, you can’t get engaged without a ring.” House said scooting her out the door. “House I don’t need a ring!” Cuddy protested. She stopped and clung onto her doorway. “I’m not getting a ring!” She said. House walked over to her and picked her up and carried her out the door. Cuddy wasn’t very happy but she was obviously going to get a ring. House carried her out to his bike and sat her on it. He got on as well and handed her a helmet. “Hang on.” He said and the engine roared to life. They sped out of the parking lot and onto the street. Within 10 minutes they were at the local jewelry shop. House had to practically drag Cuddy into the store but she gave up and went on her own. “Take your pick.” House said. “I choose none of them.” Cuddy said still being stubborn. “Come on. This is special. Every bride has to have a ring for her wedding day. Please pick something out. What women doesn’t want jewelry?” House said. Cuddy smiled and reluctantly scanned through her options of rings. After about 10minutes she stopped at one ring. It was nothing too special and it was very simple. It had a small diamond on top of a gold band. “This one.” Cuddy said waving House over. House came over. “That’s the one?” House said surprised by how small it was. “You said take my pick and I pick this one.” Cuddy said. “Ok. Umm. Hey we want this one.” House said waving the clerk over. The clerk took it out and asked Cuddy for her ring size. Once he got all the info he needed he went back into the shop. Cuddy was browsing in the accessories. “Hey. Psst.” House whispered so Cuddy wouldn’t hear. The clerk came over. “Can you put something on it for me?” House asked. “yeah sure.” The clerk said. “I want ‘Love that shirt” engraved on the inside.” House said. The clerk looked at him like he was crazy and then went back into his work area. “What is taking him so long? Cuddy asked. “I don’t know.” House said. Then the guy came out with a black ring box. House paid the man with his Visa. And Cuddy played with the box. "Let's go somewhere special." She suggested. "Ok. Where?" House asked. "Come with me." She said dragging him out onto the street. "Keys." She said. "Oh no no no. You are not driving." House said. But Cuddy had been sneaky and reached into his pocket and grabbed the keys. She threw him a helmet and put one on for herself and started the motorcycle up. "You know how to drive?" He asked surprised. "Member that bike you ha din college? Well someone didn't steel it I wrecked it. But I learned how to drive." Cuddy said. House's eyes got bigger. He got on and wrapped his arms around Cuddy's tiny waist. Cuddy gunned it down the street as House almost fell off. "Woohoo!" She screamed. House actually felt scared but then he laughed as he remembered this Cuddy in college. They drove for what seemed like an eternity but it was only an hour and a half. Cuddy slowed down and parked the bike on the side of the street. "Michigan. This is the special place?" House asked. Cuddy had drove back to their old college. "Yep." She said dragging House towards the campus. "They'll be thrilled to see us." House said sarcastically. They walked into the big building that was the center of campus because it was 'head quarters'. "Excuse me? Do you know where we can find Professor Webster?" Cuddy asked one of the students. "Uh. Dood. Old man Webby? He's giving a speech in the speech room." The kid said who was obviously high. "Where you getting your weed from kid?" House asked. Cuddy slapped him and told him to come with her. They entered the huge auditorium where big lectures and speeches and performances were given. The whole front was filled with students old and young and some other teachers were in the middle. House and Cuddy sat in the back. They sat quietly and listened...tried to listen. House couldn't help himself and cleared his throat very loudly. Cuddy nudged him and gave him a look. House wasn't satisfied because no one looked. So this time he picked up a piece of...something that was on the seat next to him. He examined it and confirmed that he had no idea what it was. He then made sure the professor wasn't looking and threw the object forward. It went flying through the air and hit someone in the middle. House quickly sunk to the ground so that when the people turned around it looked like Cuddy did it. Cuddy hid her face and looked away. From the ground House was laughing until he realized Cuddy was wearing a skirt. He tried to look up her skirt but she crossed her legs. He sat back up on the seat. "You ruin all the fun." House smirked. Cuddy put her hand on the inside of his thigh and squeezed as hard as she could causing House to flinch in pain. She rested her hand on his leg and smiled at him. House got the message and stopped...for a while. “I gotta go pee mommy.” House said in a child’s voice. Cuddy gave him a look and told him to go the other way. House got up and stepped over her. He gave her a wink and Cuddy gave him an un-amused look. House went pee and was walking back to the auditorium when he stopped when he noticed some pictures of his graduating class on the wall. Their they were House and Cuddy. He found the picture that that kid had took of them when they first met. He smiled and continued on his way back to the auditorium. He took the other way so as not to piss Cuddy off again. He sat back down next to Cuddy. “I’m sorry for being so immature.” House said grabbing Cuddy’s hand. She looked at him and smiled. “I know.” She whispered. It was now 7:30 at night. “We gotta hurry this speech up.” House said. “Excuse me professor? I have to go pee pee on the potty.” House said raising his hand. He said ‘pee pee on the potty’ sorta slowly as to indicating something. The gray-haired with glasses on turned around and took off his glasses and raised an eyebrow. House stood and motioned for Cuddy to stand as well. Everyone turned to look at this rude man. “House? Gregory House?” The professor asked surprised. House and Cuddy were already on their way down to see him. “Yep. It’s me.” House said. “And Lisa Cuddy? My dear Lisa?” The man asked. “It’s me professor.” Cuddy said. Cuddy gave him a hug. And House high-fived him. “Well, you two haven’t changed at all have you? I heard about your leg. It looks better.” The professor said to House. “Yeah.” House said. “Oh. Students these are two of my old students. This is Lisa Cuddy. She is now dean of The Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital and this is.” The professor sighed. ‘This is House. Biggest pain in the ass I’ve ever met but he is currently the best Diagnostician in the state.” He said introducing House and Cuddy. “Why don’t you help us out. We are working on a case here.” The professor said pointing to the white board. House took a look at it. “Anybody know what disease basically makes your body kill you?” House asked. No one in the audience raised their hand. “Dr. Webster, what have you been teaching these people?” House asked. “How bout lupus?” House said. “Yes. Well done House. It is lupus everyone.” The professor said. Just then the last bell for the day rang and everybody bustled out of the class as Professor Webster was yelling out assignments. “Please sit you two.” He said. House and Cuddy took a seat on his desk. “So give me the life story.” He said to House. “No one would hire me so Cuddy got me cheap. Got married to Stacey Warner. Got an infarction. Got Vicodin. Got a divorce. Became an addict and more of an ass. Fell head over heals for Cuddy again. Got her pregnant and asked her to marry me. She took me here. Don’t know why here, but she did.” House said awful fast. “Wow! Let’s hear her side of the story.” The professor said pointing to Cuddy. “No one would hire him so I got him cheap. He got a bitch for a wife and I got a broken heart. He got an infarction and I got my first patient. I became dean and hired him who became a chronic pain in the ass. Chronic pain in the ass came with law suits and the cops. I laid down the law. I was always in love with him and he got me knocked up and asked me to marry him. I brought here because this place is special.” Cuddy said just as fast. “I see. Where’s the kid now/” Webster asked. “She’s with child right now.” House said pointing to Cuddy’s belly. “You see I just found out I was pregnant today…and I was proposed to today as well.” Cuddy said. “Ah. Now that sounds more like the two lovers I used to know. Well congratulations. Do you know the sex?” He asked. “A boy duh.” House said. “No! We do not know the sex. House just thinks any child of his is going to be a boy.” Cuddy said. “How have you been?” She continued. “I recently fund out that I have stage 2 lung cancer. The mass is operable though. In fact I got an appointment at PPTH on Friday. With a Doctor…uh” “Wilson.” House added. “Yes. That’s the fellow. Seems like a nice fellow.” Webster said. “He’ll take good care of you. I wish you the best of luck.” Cuddy concluded. “Well wish you the best of luck as well and you should stop in to see us when your over there.” House said getting up. “Yeah I will.” Webster said. With that House and Cuddy walked out.
