As Cuddy watched the EMT's peel House out from under his motorcycle her heart was going about a mile a second. Her heart stopped though when one of the EMT's yelled," Get the paddles his heart isn't beating!" Cuddy watched in guilt thinking,' If I hadn't got on the bus none of this would've happened.'

House didn’t know how long he’d been standing on that lacrosse field. But the sun had gone down hours ago and the sky was now pitch black and his breath was visible.
