The highly anticipated historical fantasy drama “Scarlet Heart” has confirmed its broadcast date! The drama is an adaptation of the Chinese web novel and drama of the same name and the Korean production will be broadcast in both China and Korea simultaneously.

The drama completed casting in November and features an all-star cast including Lee Joon Gi, IU, Hong Jong Hyun, EXO’s Baekhyun, Kim San Ho, Yoo Sun Woo, Nam Joo Hyuk, Ji Soo, Kang Ha Neul, Kang Han Na, and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun among many, many more.

Big Bang, J.Y. Park, and IU were voted as artists of the year by netizens!

According to the 'Korean Music Awards', voting results for 2015 showed that Big Bang, J.Y. Park, and IU won 'Artist of the Year chosen by Netizens' award.

For the voting, a total of 70 candidates were separated into categories. The division showed that there were a total of 22 male artists, 10 female artists, and 38 group artists.

The voting started at noon on February 15 and ended at midnight on February 22. There were a total of 26,542 voters. Big Bang received a total of 5,321 votes in the group category, J.Y Park received 1,425 votes in the male artist category, and IU received 3,654 in the female artist category.

SBS‘s upcoming fantasy-romance drama has been renamed from “Moon Lovers” to “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo.” Lee Joon Gi and IU have previously confirmed to star in the drama, and now SBS has released the first still photos from the set. Trainee Park So Yeon of LOEN Entertainment has gained the attention of viewers and judges following her performance on the recent episode of Producer 101.

Aired on January 29th via Mnet, the second episode of Producer 101 featured a test stage given to trainees to determine their current level.

It has just been confirmed that IU will be starring opposite actor Lee Joonki in a new drama.

Entitled "Scarlet Heart", the new drama is the Korean version of a famous Chinese television series, which in turn was based on a book of the same title.

The drama is a romantic fantasy in which a 21st century woman is sent back to a historical time period and is forced to adjust to a comparatively primative lifestyle.

The Chinese version of the drama was immensely popular all over Asia, resulting in high anticipation for the Korean version.
