On June 26, KBS hit drama “Producer” treated fans to one last broadcast before going off air. The 100-minute special contained never-before-seen footage of NG (“No Good”) cuts as well as behind-the-scenes and making-of clips.

The NG cuts were a gold mine and allowed viewers to see just how much effort and self-restraint went into shooting some of the drama’s most serious scenes. This series of NG cuts from an important scene where actors Kim Soo Hyun and IU share their feelings for each other is no exception.

150517 IU Achieves All-Kill with “Producer” OST “Heart,” SHINee Takes Second Place

IU has topped the charts and achieved an all-kill with her latest OST release “Heart.“

Released on May 18 at midnight, the “Producer” OST song shot to the top of all major charts. As of 9 a.m. KST, the song ranks first on Melon, Mnet, Olleh Music, Naver Music, Genie, Daum Music, Soribada, and Monkey3.

SHINee, who dropped their anticipated fourth album “Odd” on the same day, currently occupy the second slot with their title track “View.” Other tracks off their new album, such as “Love Sick” and “Odd Eye,” have also made it to the Top 10.

BIGBANG continues to rank third and fourth with “Loser” and “BAE BAE,” respectively.

The roles played by Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Soo Hyun, IU, and Cha Tae Hyun in KBS 2TV’s star-studded drama “Producer” have been revealed.

Gong Hyo Jin will play a PD with ten years of experience in the industry who is smart, haughty, and never holds back in letting people know what she thinks.

Kim Soo Hyun will play a rookie PD who wanted to be a prosecutor but chooses this career path wholly for the sake of love and women.

IU will depict a famous celebrity who became a trainee when she was 13 years old. She is called “ice princess” for her poker face and complete control over her emotions....

Script for “Producers” reveals that Kim Soo Hyun may not be the only lead

Recently on March 23rd, the cast of Producer gathered for their first official script rehearsal. Many of those who were present were surprised to see Kim Soo Hyun’s rather low number of scenes.

Other than the fact that the drama is being created with a superb cast of actors including Kim Soo Hyun, IU, Cha Tae Hyun, Gong Hyo Jin, and Kim Jong Kook, the producing staff of the drama evenly distributed the scenes and lines without favoring certain stars for their fame and experience.
