My entire life, it never occurred to me that I have a learning disability. Honestly, I just thought I was really really really really incredibly bad at math. Like REALLY bad. I went through decades of my life struggling with what other people could do in their sleep. I was in THE most basic math class during my high school years. I remember our really cool teacher would give us worksheets to work on and they were addition and subtraction problems. It was a big relief from having to possibly have to take algebra or whatever else kind of mathematical nonsense.
