hi all. ain't it great we can finally have opinions about things again now that we swept that white trash bush administration out the door? Trying to tell a bunch of saddened people they're not criminals for having opinions like we weren't crushed over 9/11 too. And that's why Diablo Cody is a genius. She probably had Juno finished for the longest time and nobody wanted to buy it until she watched enough Fox News and such and realized that "hey...maybe my protagonist should KEEP the baby." She started to do what all starving script writers have done during the wifebeater bush years -- ask themselves how to make their stuff acceptable in a world where everyone thinks it's cool to be callous jerks only to discover their own government ripped them off took their houses drowned their relatives in New Orleans and made raising a kid in this country a chore at worst a crying shame at best. What's my kid supposed to be? A bully so he succeeds? Or a nice kid I like having around so he fails? And everyone's a hillbilly creep. Even people who aren't white and many of them played along with the new Bush Nazism (2000-2008), thinking it was cool to use people for the purposes of climbing up in the world, hurting their own, thinking they're laughable fools for loving them unconditionally. For people like Diablo Cody who are actually cool, life is not only a mental and varitable hell, but anything creative is sunk on arrival. Diablo tailor made a good story to appeal to absolute pieces of dung who are no longer vialble in our nation's political scene. And that's the real genius of Juno.
