Supermodel Christie Brinkley is set for the Islanders' Opening Night , tonight at the Nassau Coliseum.

That's tonight, when Rick DiPietro and the Islanders take on Ryan Miller and the Buffalo Sabres.
In honor of Christie Brinkley's extraordinary philanthropic efforts for Long Island, the Islanders invited her to take part in the ceremonial opening faceoff tongiht. She told the team she was counting down the days to Opening Night.
"We can't wait for Saturday night," said Ms. Brinkley. "My son Jack and I have become huge Islanders fans. The excitement, the action and the energy in the Coliseum is just incredible. We are looking forward to a really great season."
Kevin Connolly was raised on Long Island and has been a devoted Islanders fan since birth. The star of "Entourage" will take part in a between-periods shootout with Islanders legend Mike Bossy for the New York State Lottery. Proving his sense of history when it comes to his favorite team, Connolly will wear an Islanders jersey marked No. 11 in honor of one of his favorite all-time players, dynasty member Wayne Merrick.
"Islanders Opening Night on October 6 has been marked on my calendar since the day the NHL schedule came out," said Connolly, who has also had roles in the films "The Notebook," and "Antwone Fisher."
Bossy has been a mainstay for Islanders Opening Nights, but each one is special for the Hall of Famer.
"The home opener is a Long Island tradition," said Bossy, who will be one of several distinguished Islanders alumni in attendance. "The place is going to be packed and there's so much excitement about the team Garth and Ted have put together because this is a group with a lot of heart. I'm also looking forward to the shootout at intermission with Kevin Connolly. Kevin is such a big Islanders fan and we really appreciate him being part of Opening Night, but I beat Bryan Trottier last year. You have to like my chances against Kevin.
"Either way, we can't wait to see all the fans on Opening Night as we kick off a magical season."

Entourage Party at Myst: Hug it out with Grenier, Dillon and Friends

"In another sign that Scottsdale is becoming Hollywood in the Desert, the cast of the HBO hit Entourage will host a party at Myst nightclub on Feb. 1.
Star Adrian Grenier will perform with his band, the Honey Brothers, while co-star Kevin Dillon will work the crowd and pose for photos with guests. Playboy Mansion resident DJ Roxanne Dawn will work the decks, and later in the night, hip-hopper Baby Bash will perform."
Tickets are $150 for General Admission and $300 for VIP. Both options feature open bar all night. The VIP option simply gets you in the VIP area - better location, better crowd. Tickets can be purchased at www.mystaz.com.

Julianne Hough and Kevin Connolly- more than "just friends"?
The Entourage star, 33, recently stopped by Los Angeles's Tracy Allen Fine Jewelry and plunked down several thousand dollars on a diamond and18-karat, white-gold ring for Dancing with the Stars beauty Julianne Hough.
Hough's rep confirms to PEOPLE that the 19-year-old professional dancer did indeed receive a ring from the star, but insists that they two are "just friends" and "not dating."
A store patron says Connolly "knew exactly what he was going to get her and was clear about who it was for."
Hough even wore the ring on Monday's performance show, when she and partner Helio Castroneves did the paso doble and the fox trot.

Entourage's Kevin Connolly can be seen as he comes out of The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. The Paparazzo tells Kevin that he is a Coffee Addict to which Kevin agrees and says it is because of the early call times. Kevin also talks about his outfit he is wearing and says it is for the show and that he normally wouldn't wear it. He is then asked and he responds to a questions of when he is going to do some features. Kevin says "I don't know, ask my agent" before he drives off to go to work
