Kopa's Story (Animated!)

bendaimmortal I know by experience there are people watching this video who are about to ask "Is this real?!" - so let me make this clear: This story is FANFICTION, [b]made up by a fan[/b], NOT REAL, [b]never happened in any official vision[/b] because Disney has officially announced that the cub at the end of the first film is Fluffy/Kiara. Kopa never existed anywhere outside the book universe, and even there nothing fatal happens to him. So no, this story is not real, but just creativity of a fan. And I did not make this video, and I only appreciate the editing, especially to the storyline. Hence the text in the description box above. STORYLINE in this video, as written by 4yr7ryleeroo: [i]"In revenge for killing Scar, Zira hatches a plan to kill someone Simba loves- Kopa. One day, when neither Nala or Simba is watching, Kopa sneaks away to go play in the gorge. Zira sees him there and starts to stalk him, which eventually leads to a chase. Zira knocks Kopa off the mountain, which makes Kopa too weak to escape. She creeps down the slope to finish what she started. A couple hours later, the pride finds the dead, beaten body of Kopa. Simba and Nala blame each other for Kopa's death. Meanwhile, in Heaven, Kopa feels terrible for the pain he caused his family all because he left to go play. Then, when Simba gets back to Pride Rock, he realizes his mother, Sarabi, is dying. He stays with her til the end. Kopa is still sitting, alone in Heaven when he hears a voice. It's Mufasa, who asks Kopa why he's crying. Since they're in Heaven, Kopa knows that's his grandfather. Kopa tells Mufasa about how he left to play in the gorge and how his parents are fighting. Mufasa assures his grandson death is a part of the circle of life and that his parents will learn to move on without him. Then Kopa sees Sarabi entering Heaven and whispers a little smart alec comment that Mufasa's lover is here. Kopa runs up to greet his grandmother while Mufasa looks on, smiling at his one true love, Sarabi. A couple months later, Nala finds out she's pregnant. She tells Simba, who practically tackles her to the ground because he's so overjoyed. One morning, Kopa looks out and sees animals in pack and flocks, all heading toward Pride Rock. Mufasa finds him and tries to explain the meaning of life to Kopa, who doesn't understand the "circle-of-life" one bit, so Mufasa just decides to show him Kiara's presentation. Simba knows in the end his father, mother, and son are okay and that God is taking care of them. Kopa understands that Heaven is better than living on the Earth with all the suffering and hatred. angel265 Its a sad story but i think that they should make a lion king 3 showing that kopa comes back and since most people know that simba had a son first that then it would all make sence to even more people.

bendaimmortal Oh yeah!! Perfect sense! Kopa: Mom! Dad! Kiara! Hi, I'm back! You probably thought I was dead? You must have missed me sooo much! Let me tell you all about what happened to me-- Simba & Nala: Well...to be entirely honest...You were never talked about in all these years. Even though Kiara here got into life-threatning dangers at least three times. Nala: And we left Kiara's safety in the hands of Timon and Pumbaa even though they lost her over and over again and could not possibly protect her from dangers. And I was completely careless about her running around when she wss little and helpless. Simba: You didn't even appear in my nightmares after Kiara almost got killed. Even though I actually have been very protective over Kiara because I'm a loving and caring father. Simba & Nala: So we having lost you makes perfect sense and surely you understand the utter and complete lack of any thought of you! ...Oh no, how could you say that?! We're not the worst and most uncaring parents on the planet!! We were very protective and caring towards Kiara! Simba: Oh, I almost forgot! Have you met Kovu? He's around Kiara's age and was born when Scar was still alive. So you don't actually fit anywhere on this timeline... Kopa: ...Oh. Maybe I should just stay the hell away from this movie universe and remain in the books because I was never supposed to be here anyway which is why now I REALLY don't have a place here. * * * * Seriously. Get real. Making a movie about Kopa as an older sibling of Kiara would make anything BUT sense. It would be an utter total nonesense, make The Lion King storyline horribly confusing, and cast a terrible light on Simba and Nala. And basically it would just be entirely illogic, already with the timeline alone. The only way Kopa could be attached to the movie universe storyline is by having him born AFTER Simba's Pride's end and writing Kiara and Kovu out of Pridelands to make it logical for baby Kopa to be presented and become the main heir to the throne as he is in the books. But even so it would get slightly unrealistic with the books not making any mention of anything from TLK2, and get confusing with the cub that would thus be Kopa, having been used for Kiara in TLK2's official trailer and literally confirmed as Kiara in a magazine interview. So I wouldn't hold my breath for any movie about Kopa. If someone's been holding it for the past 17 years, I warmly recommend to stop and be satisfied with just fanfiction. Disney's obviously already decided that they don't care to use outsider-created original characters but create their entirely own when it comes to their movies.
