Out of all of the superheroes, Batman is the one with the most popular group of villains. Batman may not have superpowers, but his intelligence and skills lead to him fighting more supervillains than most, if not, all superheroes. There's so many Batman villains that it can be difficult to keep track of them all. Naming every villain from every Batman comic is practically an impossible mission, but it is possible to list the major enemies in the Batman franchise.

Batman is one of the most popular superheroes of all time. Because of this, he's had more appearances on the big screen than most superheroes.

Batman's first theatrical appearance was 1943's movie serial, starring Lewis Wilson as Batman and Douglas Croft as Robin. Although the serial is mostly forgotten, it was responsible for the creation of Alfred, played by William Austin, and the Batcave.

The second Batman movie serial was 1949's Batman and Robin, starring Robert Lowery as Batman and Johnny Duncan as Robin.

In 1966, the first Batman television show came out. It was a live-action series that starred Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin. The show had three seasons and 120 episodes.
