Voro waited a full hour before remotely unlocking the doors. "Careful boys she may still be lively, no matter how much gas we pumped into that plane. Pray that we can get her to the hotel before she wakes up. The less bruises that have to heal the better." The limo took them through a very residential area." Why are we taking this way boss?" Voro frowned unpleasantly at the guard's question." You're lucky I need you. As for why....
..this is going to be part of my new empire. It has very little activity. No drugs, no prostitutes, its so clean its unhealthy.I plan to change that. What is left of the criminals will find that they have only one real option left to them. Join me.I suppose they can leave or die I wouldn't mind that overly much. Stop here at this clinic. See if their head medic is on duty, she could do with a little attention. " The driver pulled up to the front of the clinic.
Yuzu was busy cleaning the floors when a very muscled man came into the clinic. "Ah hello? Is there a doc on duty?" Yuzu quickly put away her mop and presented herself in front of him.
"I am. How can I help?" The bodyguard tipped his shades down eyeing her suspiciously.
"Aren't you a little young to be a doc?" Yuzu gave him a folded armed stance. "Do you need my help or not?" The big guy swallowed hard.
"Gi...ggive me a minute." He raced out to whatever vehicle his patient was in.Then came back in carrying a young woman covered in black and blue bruises from head to feet. "Was she in a car accident?" Yuzu said quickly moving an examination table through the door. " Lay her down. Oh gees I have to get my dad. This maybe more then even I can handle." As she went to go up, the guard caught her arm. "Call him I don't want her to fade away on me while you're up there." Yuzu could see the man was nervous about the girl's condition. "Can you open the door?" The man nodded and pulled it nearly off its hinges. "Sorry." Yuzu waved it off. "Dad! Dad!
Dad! " On the 3rd yell the old man appeared out of sorts and yawning. " What the hell is going on?
Oh. Is there a patient? Duh of course there is. Forgive me I was catching up on my sleep." As he saw the girl on the stretcher he paled, she was
in bad shape. She needed a real hospital, not his clinic."We'll need to take x-rays and wake her for more information on how she got into this kind of mess." Yuzu gasped as the man pulled out a gun.
"Sorry I can't take the chance that she'll wake up. She gets really violent, real fast. The less you know the better it is for you. So can you help or do I take her like she is?" Yuzu clamped her teeth over her bottom lip."Father?" Karin said as she came in from her soccer practice."I can advise you only that she needs more care than we can offer. A hospital not a clinic." The man nodded as he hid the gun under the bruised body of the girl he picked up. Karin stood in his way, when she wouldn't move he merely brushed past her and out the door to the waiting limo.Ichigo arrived just as a man was getting into the front seat of a limo parked in front of his house. For a moment he gave it a wondering thought.Going in he found his family more then a little upset. So upset that his father didn't attack him upon his entering the building. "Why didn't you call the cops?" Karin was yelling at their father. "Those kinds of men you don't mess with while your children are where they can see them." Turning to Yuzu he growled. " It would have been better if you had said that you were just the maid and that the medic was out on a call !" Ichigo had never seen his father so....so worried. "Who the hell were they?" Isshin's frown deepened and his hands trembled. "I don't want to lose any of you. I've already lost your mother....." Then he looked up at his son. Ichigo nodded. How his father knew about his new powers he had no idea, but now was not the time to ask. " The two things I know are that they were both American. That limo out there may have been rented. So Karin get on the phone and check the services. Yuzu....talk to your boyfriend." Yuzu came around to Ichigo and hugged him hard tears flowing down her cheeks. "Oh Ichigo! She was just so badly hurt. All black and blue and she smelled aweful.Like something dead for hours." Karin thought about the smells she'd smelled on the two as they passed by. "And there was a funny smell like the stuff we use to knock out people when we have to." She added before turning to her father. "Couldn't Toshiro help as well?" Their father shook his head. "This is not something to involve the soul society with. Not yet anyways. Right now I need you both on the phones. Ichigo come with me." Ichigo followed his father upstairs while the girls were already busy calling. When he got up stairs his father turned to him. "It was when we were away wasn't it. When Yuzu was attacked. Sure I had a feeling and then that freak Keisuke let it out without any precaution at all. But I wanted to hear it from you." Ichigo looked down at the floor. "Yes.....and then the others showed up. I'm not the only one. There's, Rengi, Orihime, Rongiku, and me. At least that's what Abel said. Why are the reaper's hunting the smiths? They are hunting me, dad. Why? If they knew, they would be hunting me." Isshin hugged his son. "Why you?" Ichigo pulled away from his father. "What do you mean why me?" Isshin went to the drawer he never let anyone open. He drew out a key that he had in his wallet and opened the drawer. " When I was young my nana made me write down all the stories I could find about smiths. It was hard to find them, but with each find she would smile more, treat me better and take me out with her when she went abroad. Your nana was quite the wonderer. But at the end of her life she took me aside and told me the truth. We are of a lost people, but our blood was so diluted that it would be nearly impossible to have a descendant bring about the return of the smiths. She said our family had the specialty of having all 3 levels of power. Mages, reapers and smiths. She said that she had been searching for a way to bring about their return before she died. But she felt at peace that she could leave it to me. I guess this book is more for you then it was ever meant for me. But right now I need you to use your abilities to find that girl if its possible.
Jamie plunked her bag onto one of the chairs while she drug out her laptop from the line of them on the wall. Her finger's itched with something akin to nervousness, but that was impossible she never got nervous. She never sweat, but it was running down in rivets from her temples. Did she have a fever? It did happen from time to time.Taking out a fever sticker she put it on her forehead and waited. No, she didn't have a fever. Oh who was she kidding. She knew the reason, Kara Kura. A town that hadn't even been called that back when it had just been another fishing village with a local lord that had been pleasant enough until he'd died. Quickly she shut the memory down before it went too far. Focus, focus she needed to get her child back. She prayed to God for PB to be alright and that Voro wouldn't harm her, no that would be too much to ask for.She prayed that she would at least be alive.Wounds could heal, given enough time and care they could and P.B. would have it.Tears flooded, and she curled herself up into a ball and let herself cry, cry and cry. Somewhere in all the crying she fell asleep. A warm blanket, a gentle hand and her mother's lulla-bye woke her. She almost said momma, until she saw Mira's dark and troubled eyes. Mira? Why was Mira here? She'd been with her attack group in the middle east training some new recruits in some of the older birds."Shhhh....did you really think you were going to do this alone? I should be pissed, but anyone who can cry like you just did...." Lip's head cut in and rolled his eyes."No more! No more, damn it! Or you'll flood the whole damn plane!" Jamie rolled her eyes and sat up on the couch. "He's right. Its time I stopped hiding from my past. It was so long ago it can't really hurt me. I lived through it, I moved on. It made me more of who I became, not less. Voro's got PB, I'm sorry it was my fault. I told her to break it off and then I left for work.Bro didn't know, he let them in when he came home early to make dinner for his three." Mira swallowed hard against her own guilt for taking the job in the middle east. She should have been there to pound some sense into her baby sister. Soul saving wasn't something those two demons from hell were about. As she'd received first hand knowledge of what Lily and Voro's idea of friendship was. Where as PB had been home schooled Mira had gone to the best private school in the city. Where she had gone to school with them. So she hadn't known all about their psycho ticks. Mira had never talked about what they'd done to her at school so she wouldn't bring either of them down or have mom call in the boys as Jamie always called them. So she'd never figured either of them on ever meeting PB. Swallowing hard she brushed her hand through Jamies fierce fire red locks. "It's o.k. I know. I also know PB wouldn't have gone down easily. You taught us well. PB's her own woman too. God did I just say she was a woman? I did. She is.Mom she'll be alright she'll be waiting for us at the end of this ride.Sam's already got his boy's walking the areas for where this bastard might be looking over. Shouldn't take too long, with an ego as big as his he'll be in a limo."
Aizen prodded the sacks that his prodegeny laid in. His living nightmares made possible by becoming part hollow thanks to his enemies. He laughed long and loud letting it ring throughout the cavern. Gen peered up from his work with the most recent aquisitions. "How many more do you think Voro can get us?" Aizen smirked. "As long as we keep paying him and promising him his own little empire. He'll get us as many as we want." Gen giggled at the thought, of having made a promise that would end up in bloodshed once the crysilis's were done transforming the living into the very special hollowfied nightmares. Aizen hummed a tune suddenly from out of nowhere. His.... mother's....he shut the memory down. He did not need anything to screw up his plans, least of all himself. But what had unlocked the memory? His shoulders twitched, he needed his little crazy lovely here soon. A perchance meeting of Voro's sister on the internet and then she had come to him with a batch of viables.
She had been more fascinated and intregged then repulsed. Even his experiments she was enthralled with, not really caring for the living subjects beneath the pod like cases. In fact she was more then willing to help increase his numbers of viables. How very strange. He had never thought to find a living person so in tune to his kind of vibe. He smiled and hummed as he finished his work, uncaring if it brought any more memories up from the box they'd laid dormant in for over 1,000 years.
Steven swore as everything seemed to be blowing up around him. From the kidnapping to the now wedding chapel massacre found at one of the Del Fuego's mansions in the Florida Keys. The blood at the hanger also turned out to be from the crew that handled the personal jet.Their bodies apparently loaded into the plane's hold. He involuntarily shivered as he thought of that mess. Sam patted him on the shoulder as he came around the desk. "Jesus Christ Sam don't do that! You're too quiet. Make some damn noise when you walk." Sam rolled his eyes, floating his arms out and went. "Ooo...should I go boo too." Steven snorted, waving his hand as if to swat away a pesky fly."So did you make any more sense out of that mess, in Florida?" Sam took off his sunglasses, revealing the heavy bags, and red veined eyes that reminded Steven of cracked glass. "Other then I'll have to get my cornea's scrubbed and myself brainwashed to forget any of it. Jesus and I thought the original chain saw massacre was a blood bath. That little bitch actually took a bath in their blood. But how about you?" Sam said sarcastically.Steven shook his head, the aunt had gotten suddenly ill at the last moment and they had stayed home instead of going to the wedding. Which had probably saved them. "No not much, but there is this. Apparently quite a few of the lovely little Jamie's closest associates are leaving their homes and heading out in all directions. About the only one not leaving are the Mornings and that's because the wife is pregnant. I'm betting they're all going to this place called Kadda Kutie." Sam spit and shot coffee out his nose, as he laughed."Its Kara Kura numb nuts and yeah you probably are right.
Hell haven't you been watching the t.v. the supernatural vibe verse? The whole damn town is like one big poltergeist." Steven snorted and r lled
his eyes as he ticked onto the airline tickets he'd been given the nod for. Where ever the lead took them, as long as they didn't forget to be polite to the local police and to try to keep it from exploding into a full blown international affair. His smile grew as he thought. Jamie I'm coming.
