In the deserts of Mundo a castle appeared out of thin air. Gardens suddenly shook off the sand and then conquered it until it was a forgotten dream. Streams and ponds bubbled and burst in sprays of moisture. In the sky rose up a sun that drove most of the hollows to seek the darkness beneath the ground. Birds, animals, and fish flourished in the new scenic view. Those hollows that resisted the desire to crawl back down into the ground crept closer and tried to enter only to be repelled with blasts of lightning and acidic flames. Snarling they slid away from the invading structure. While inside the still expanding castle caskets of magic ice shattered as the protection spells connected to the landscape. Among them was the young Head Mage Vincent. Who shivered as he clung to the dragon made steel framing that made such caskets near impervious to all enemies. He coughed and looked across to see Kila who smiled weakly at him. As he tried to return it he lost the magical water from his lungs that preserved his body. To be followed by the others. Gasping he felt his powers warm, dry and cloth him as they returned slowly so as not to overwhelm his shivering system. "Ha-ha!" Kila laughed as water still drained from her nose. Her cloths already in place. "At least I don't have water coming out of my nose like some disgusting waterfall." Kila redirected the water from her nose towards the irritating asshole across from her. He was yet too shaken to dodge the spent water. "Damn you! That's just gross! I thought you were a lady!" Kila finally free of the draining snorted. " If I had ever been a lady 'we' would have never gotten together. So did you miss me?" She blushed. Vincent sighed. He had dreamed about her every nanosecond of the time spent in the damn casket. He struck an arrogant pose and then winked at her before any of the others realized the two head masters had more then just their titles in common. She blushed even more which set the sconce's on fire. "Well where the hell are we Vector?" Zans, the professor of wind screamed out watery as his draining wasn't quite done yet. Vector the professor of direction was a somewhat slow critter, as his mind was what the castle was attached to. It would take time for each part to report in. "Leave him alone! The poor bastard has the castle to attend to. God I hope it stays in one spot for more then a microsecond. I hate when my one self has to contend with the phases." Shara, Vector's ever faithful wife and so far the only one Vector would sleep with. Which was unusual for a male mage, the more offspring the more power they had. Vector only had an even 4. Two boys and two girls. Which were still in their teenage years. Not even old enough to procreate. Puberty for mages didn't start till they were 18 even up to 20 if they were late. "My dear I am alright. The castle is settled and the barrier enforced....we are in Mundo, so its no big deal. We've been here before. I wonder how many survived the tragedy." Everyone awake paled. Vincent could only remember the shattering of life essences and then the immediate process of being preserved by the casket. He shivered. It had been a first for most of them including him. " One had to have survived to awaken us. One powerful enough to settle the castle's red light of danger." Kila said. "Yes but where are they?" Shara said. Usually the power would be with in a few yards of the school but Mundo was a dead zone. There were no hollow mages.
Yuzu hummed along with the radio as it played her favorite song while she cooked. Abel had come back from their....she giggled. So called Men's weekend. She tasted the soup and made a face before adding the carrots and celery. The so called weekend had landed all 5 boys with colds and fevers. They were now all bundled up underneath blankets in the living room sneezing and blaming each other for getting them sick. Marz had come dragging Chad over his shoulder like a very large sack of potatoes, while there had been 2 others carrying what was left.
"You'd think an angel would know better and if not them then at least this pain in the ass would. Yeah Mr. 60's we know who you are right down to your stick of power. You don't get to be our age without knowing what's going on when it concerns your kind of prickly bastards." Keisuke grumbled as he was deposited into a rocking chair after being swathed in a heavy blanket. "And who the hell are you?" The man laughed. "Prickly. You don't need to know who the hell we are. Just be glad we aren't here to kick your ass, course you don't have much of one to kick." He said disappointingly. Marz hit the man hard in the side, making the man's eyes water. "Enough Loki, I asked the family to meet me...though I wasn't really expecting to have to pick up a bunch of babies who didn't know enough to make a decent shelter to get out of the rain. Hell they could have taken a tent. Though the big boy might not have fit. Still...Keisuke how far did you get?" Keisuke folded his arms and refused to talk. The one man with a Horus ball cap had taken a step towards him. A cough from Marz halted him but he looked him in the eye. "We didn't make it even a 5th of the way....we ran into monsters. Not hollows.....something else. Something ancient." Then the man smirked and turned his head away leaving Keisuke shaken. "What...(achoo)...are you (achoo) people?" The two men looked at Marz. Marz eyed the two men who shrugged and took a deep breath and smelled the already started soup. "I smell food, good food." Mr. Cap chuckled and slugged the man called Loki in the shoulder. "You're always hungry. Is this what you do when you have to be away from her? I mean other then tell jokes and pull pranks.Which got us kicked out of the Angel's and Demon's bar that I so was enjoying. I mean where else could you not mind being poked by a little devil. Or saved by an angel with curves so wicked they should be a sin." Marz laughed. " He saved you from yourself. I know your wife, but at least you're not as bad as your father Osiris." Keisuke's eyes went wide and then he shook his head and poked his ears as if he hadn't heard right. "You heard right reaper. Where the hell did you think they came up with the stories. Sheesh Marz I thought you said he had some brains, not lacking them." Horus said as he took the bowl and spoon from Yuzu and handed it to the big boy named Chad who was doing an excellent job of holding his sneezes back. "You know I've never seen someone your size your age in quite some time...." Horus sniffed him and nodded. "You aren't quite what you seem....not quite one of us, but not one of the norms. Family dead or missing." (sniff-sniff) " Hey Marz you didn't tell us we had royalty in the mix. Straight up in the blood....Loki take a sniff. Tell me if it doesn't remind you of someone." Marz clapped a hand on Loki's shoulder. "Now is not the time and if we don't keep a low profile those damned escapee's from Hell will find them." At that the two men became serious. "Sorry Marz. I'll go downstairs and keep watch. When we're done here I'll go to the next town and see if I can track those bastards down that took out the patrol....
have to be a nasty bunch to take out those boys. At least I hope. Hate to think that anyone of those boys could go bad." Horus said and then sagged. " Then again we all knew Lucifer before he betrayed us all over something so idiotic as humans. They are children. Ignorant, whining, but always hopeful. Always teachable, even if they have a short memory. So of course God pitied them more, they needed Him. Angels.....definitely not....Us....hmm o.k. yes but not as much. They are like the kittens you find at your door step, but of the miniature kind. So they need your care all the time and they are too cute to just say no to." Loki groaned and rolled his eyes big time and then pushed Horus out of the yet open door. "Sorry Horus is such a talker, can I get a bowl when its done little miss? Smells nearly as good as my wife's....god I miss her." Horus laughed. "I suspect she'll be pregnant with in the first few days your home. God you are never going home. Ha! Ha! Ha! How many will that make? 11 or 12." Loki blushed and pushed him harder, so hard that they all heard the thud, thud , thud as the man rolled down the stairs. Marz sagged. "Don't worry about them they've taken harder hits. Or that other thing, that was only for them. Only way I could get them to get serious and even that didn't work that long." Isshin frowned. "But they are out there. If they got to my girl what stops them from coming to KaraKura?" Keisuke nodded and held off a sneeze. "He's right what's to stop them." Marz sat down at the table where Yuzu put a bowl of soup in front of him. He breathed it in and felt his mouth water. "The town's name. The 2nd part mostly. Fallen angels, demons, hate smiths with a passion. Smiths are the arch-angel's weapon makers, god gave them to him when he was given the keys to hell....." Marz sagged his eyes went soft with memories. " I remember when we were saved....God sent Lucifer and Michael to....." He shook his head. " I'm getting off track. KaraKura is Kura's town. They set foot in it and Kura will utterly unmake them. Its part of a smith's gifts. That's one thing even demons are afraid of."
Keisuke drained the bowl in one loud slurp. He smiled excitedly. Marz rolled his eyes. Isshin hmphf. "I did warn you about involving him. He's completely nuts." Marz snorted. "I've met his kind before. I live with those two from time to time. He's small peanuts compared to them." Keisuke had made it to the table with his bowl and blanket and was basically drooling to know the story. "Yes, Kura actually lived here. Course the place was a near non-existant fishing village, but it did have a lord and a forge. That's all I'm telling you. Too much and you'll poke your nose too deep to come out with it attached to your face. I mean it."
Isshin filled Keisuke's bowl again."Don't think he's lying. He doesn't joke about such things." Marz smirked."Don't worry if things don't settle down soon enough, the smith will have to come and take the job on themselves." Keisuke frowned. "Does that mean there's more then just those 2?" He pointed towards Renji and Ichigo. Marz paled. "You aren't supposed to know about them." Keisuke felt something very long and pointy sticking him in his now almost full stomach. He narrowed his eyes at his friend. "Why does the High King want the smith's eliminated?" Isshin put his hand on Marz shoulder. " I will not have blood spilled here, this is my home. You will both respect it." Marz recalled his saber and it became the key chain for his motorcycle again. "A smith is power. Pure as the sun power, but power that can not be controlled by any one other then God and the Arch-Angel Michael. Plus the much more recent High King is not as legitimate as he would like everyone to believe. His sister's children have more pull then he their uncle has. Same old story of whose left standing. If it was known he wasn't the only leader for the position, there might be a disagreement or even a rebellion in the possible future." Ichigo wobbled to the table still sweating profusely. "You mean they won't stop till whoever this royal is is dead." Marz nodded. "That's about the gist of it. Which means the 2 of you may have to be imported to another country till this blows over." Renji sneezed on the back of Ichigo's head as he came up to him. Which got Renji a fist full of Ichigo in his face. " I think I'll leave that for another time, just be careful when you go out on the job. Hollows are one thing. Demon's are a completely new game... I know you've been to the hell verse. That's a cake walk to the bastards I hope to squash before the years end....if I can't and the smith isn't here by then you'll wish you were back in the hell verse. Now come on and lets eat, before we disrespect the fine cook and her meal." He smiled warmly at Yuzu who blushed and was taking down a tray with two bowls and a plate of crackers and cheese for Loki and Horus.
Byakuya paused in writing the next day's assignment when he felt ice cold deathly anger freeze whatever humanity he had left. He closed his eyes and saw Karen. As she caught a phone and vanish. Dead eyes smiled in a pale face and soon they too disappeared. He breathed in slowly regaining some control over the anger. Blinking he realized none of what he had seen or felt was his. It was hers. Hers? He concentrated on the aura that the feelings had left him with as it dissipated.
It had been months since the dreams had stopped...his feelings still were mixed about the so-called Guardian. Now that...

Jamie sat quietly in the back of the classroom trying to take her time deciding on just when to walk up and drop her test off in the basket. She had just rolled her eyes for the 16th time when she felt her...Gretcia? It had been over 80 years since the complete destruction of Area 51's underground lab. She had hoped the blast had taken at least Gretcia. Jamie swallowed suddenly stiffened as she felt the child being taken. Cold fire settled in her veins. She walked up and deposited the test in the basket and headed out calmly where she flashed stepped to her locker only to thrust the bitch so...

P.B. practiced her ballet in the school's new practice room. It had been one of mom's allowances when she was young and that was a birthday wish when she was 9, just a year after their rescue. Mom had even taken the courses with her just to be sure she got home safely. She had just landed on her toes after making a perfect leap, polite clapping echoed through the mirrored room. A pale youth, with black hair and dead eyes smiled what would have been a handsome smile if there would have been enough meat on the face. It reminded her of death warmed over. "Bravo! That was an excellent leap. Like...

Orihemia sat in front of her mirror. The very same that the angel had been at only a week ago.She found that the imprint moved around, from her chest to her arm. The dragon suddenly rotated and then suddenly disappeared off her shoulder. "Huh? Where did you go?" A voice like a whisper came to her ear. "I am where I have always been child within you." Orihemia paled as it spooked her. She turned expecting to see the dragon, but found an older version of herself but with black glossy hair smiling back at her. "You have very good lungs." The older one said laughing. "Ah-uhmmm-thanks." Orihemia...

Since I've been on Facebook and reading about the headmaster's death. I worked in a little magic. Being that my main character is a Soul Smith. She made Yamamoto's zenpakuto. With her arrival on the scene in a sense, it has given her creation the added strength to preserve its host. Thus, allowing the headmaster to survive when he should have died.

Yamamoto could feel pain, why? He had used all his energy all his power. He should be nothing but ash if even that. Yet he felt the stiffness of his joints the injuries he had taken. He slipped his eyes open seeing the brightness of the sky, looking...

Keisuki gripped onto the captain's shoulder. Gutsy, risky, and stupid. He flashed to behind one of the big boulders, a move he didn't do lightly. He didn't like showing that he still had a few things up his sleeve that the society didn't know about.
Byakuya narrowed his eyes at him as Keisuki let go of him.
"Sorry but I wanted to talk to you alone for a while longer."
Byakuya frowned even deeper. "What more do we have to discuss?" Keisuki rolled his eyes. "Look this will end all your problems, the ones you already have plus the ones we added when we made up that story for you. You rescue her.......

Byakuya's eyes closed even as he fought them. He was tired, distraught and too emotional where Jamie was concerned. He shouldn't have gone over, but when Unohana retold him of her workings on the girl that even after a few days still drew an unprecedented pale and no smile from the captain it had disturbed him. "Never in all my life have I seen so much disregard for her own body. But never one so brave, she shames the whole society with her selflessness." She had said and then asked him. "You were there when they took her, were you not?" The question had caught him off guard, for he had made...

P.B. covered what she could of the bruises Voro had given her. She had worn the wrong color dress for the date. Even though everyone at the party said it was beautiful and made them stand out. Impossible to miss. Tears spilled down ruining the careful blotting out she had done. She needed to break it off but Voro's past girlfriends....went missing. How had this happened? Mira had left leaving her finally on her very own for the real first time but she'd only done so as mom had been on her way, mom or Jamie as she liked to be called now had had one of her episodes. That now had become the norm...

If some of you actually come across my stories and start to read them you will notice some do not have any real connection to the continuing story. As I have learned in the past. Pen and pencil tend to fade away on paper or anything else you write on. So I come here and write it on a screen and send it out as a pop fly into the audience instead of a home run.. Don't know if I'll use them or trash them, I just want to make sure if I burn out and leave the story for awhile I have some record of it somewhere I can still read it. I have tons of paper at home in 20 gallon totes at least 2 or more and 5 years in and can no longer read due to the fading. So I hope you thoroughly enjoy my scribbles in case I end up having a bad case of multiple personalities due to the people I have living inside my poor drooling brain. Probably why I have terrible spelling and punctuation at times. At least I think I do. Never did get higher then a C average in English.
Karakura Hall of History.

Luna de la Muerte yawned and stretched.
"Mommy whose that lady in the blade?" A little girl said pointing at Luna. "What lady? Oh I see. That's not funny.Someone's using it to reflect their own video feed." Luna giggled and winked at the little girl who giggled back. "It'll be our little secret." Luna said as the little girl went on with her mother to look at the armor that stood in the next case. When they did Luna whistled long and high to wake her sister, Shadow. "In all the holy one's forges, I'm right here." Luna made a face as she studied her little sister. "Why...

Next town over at a restaurant.

Yuzu picked at the food on her plate. It smelled good, but also off as if there was something missing. "Is there something wrong with the food miss?" The waitress said. "Oh no....well it could use a pinch of oregano.Maybe a dash of celery salt too." The waitress nodded and went back to the kitchen and grabbed the items. "We aim to please." Yuzu blushed and thanked her before adding the ingredients. A delicate sniff made her smile. "Perfect." The waitress came closer and wafted the scent towards herself. " Oh my it does smell much better. I think I'll have to...

Soul Society-Rongiku's bedroom-Rongiku's dream.

Rongiku found herself in Gin's arms dancing after her 1st successful mission at a living realm club. God she'd loved him then and still did. A kid with a tray of champagne came around to them. "Ah momma you rockin the place with those moving curves." Gin growled at the kid. "So-sorry papa bear. Grrr..here have a pass on me." The kid dangled a fancy gold coin medallion necklace from his fingers.Gin snatched it from the kid's hands and snorted. "Oh Gin take it easy on him. He's just a kid." Gin looked at her and smiled."You want this? Really? Its...

Mauri smiled at his cleverness having captured the dark-haired young woman. Her eyes had gone wide as she had been absorbed into his body. The liquid would make her able to be transferred to the lab without complications. If nothing else she would make a fine new body with some adjustments for the new Nemu. Nothing would stop him from getting what he wanted not even the threat of being thrown back into that hell hole where Kesuki had found him. As long as Nemu was alive again it would all be worth it. Mira had run as she had finished the drawing feeling the ravaged mind behind the paint, a...

As Jamie walked out into the cool night air, Marz filled her in on what had been going on in the city. Her eyes and mind wondering off to the places that no longer existed but where memory still kept them. She sighed too heavily and was caught. Marz's light teasing tone turned completely serious. "We can handle this; you don't need to be here. Why don't you...." She stopped him right there. "Thank you but like I tell all my children to overcome we must face what we fear the most. I can't just throw my rules out because this is me and not some abused or orphaned child in need of a protector."...

Jamie clicked off with Fenton as she walked through the city. Feeling colder and more depressed with each block she walked. Remembering the small fishing village with a handful of people that had once stood here. So deep was she that she ran smack into a tall strawberry blonde boy's back. "Sorry." She mumbled and then moved on without even looking up, just turning the corner. At her touch Ichigo glimpsed a small village with an immense forest before an ancient palace. Flashes of faces before the contact was lost. He blinked and saw a huddled form walking away...Ichigo looked at the school and...

Jamie and the crew made it to the playground where Ichigo had battled his first real hollow of his own choice. She smiled lightly at his memory of it as they huddled in the forested area. "Mom?" Jamie looked up from the slight rest against the tree she was taking. "Yes P.B.?" There was an awkward silence. "Why?" Jamie laughed. "Why not? For me there are only memories. One by one you will all go before me, leaving me behind. So why not. At least I'll have finally been able to do something worthwhile for you." Lips stormed, grabbed her up and shook her. Jamie took a deep breath and smelled the...

"Who is she?" Byakuya said calmly to Keisuki alone down in the practice field below the shop. "Ah who do you mean? I mean there's so many..." His voice became a whisper as he met the captain's eyes. He frowned. Byakuya's eyes were changing color and not into the nice and sunny colors. Nope, not at all. Shit. With the way they were turning he was about to see just what a Soul Smith's other half was capable of when barrowing the powers. Not that Kuchiki was even aware of any of this. Which was dangerous, for both of them. Did she know? She'd have to know. Which meant if he told the man in front...

KaraKura more than one year after Aizen's defeat.

Ichigo walked home in the dying light after spending hours in the school's library. The dream he'd had the night before, had driven him to find some kind of answer to it in the library. It only left him with a bad taste in his mouth as it had gained him nothing but more questions. His phone rang. Rukia? He sighed. No. Just Yuzu worrying. Maybe it was for the best. He winced. Any ways Renji had been itching for a chance with her and he was a full fledged reaper..... Damn it! His heart nearly stopped with that thought. He'd saved...he grit his...
