Byakuya frowned at Renji as they went their separate ways.
Shunsui studied the young soul reaper as he walked toward the glass structure. Which towered over most of the other buildings. "Don't be angry with him. The Kurosaki's are like the family he never had. He's an orphan, you know that."
Byakuya turned to Shunsui. "Yes, that was also another reason I chose him as my second. But he has been acting more or less out of control with his emotions when it comes to the substitute soul reaper and his family." Mayouri patted the bag that housed the chemical puddle. "Should I run Ichigo's blood against those in the Society? Or would that be an intrusion of privacy?" Shunsui side glanced the manic in clown costume. "I would have thought you would have already done that." Mayouri raised his eyebrows. "Really? I'm hurt. I'll be going now. Renji's parents died in a massacre they never did find the supposed killer and no it wasn't me. I do not use the poor to fill in my experiments. They just have too many problems to get a clear result from."
Kego smelled the hot pot smorgasbord of dishes that filled the table. "Bon apetite. Dig in boys I know I am." Jamie sighed as she picked up her chop sticks and expertly picked up the squid sushi roll from the platter and dipped it into the blazing bonzi sauce. Before plopping it into her mouth. Her mouth puckered and eyes crinkled in pure joy as she swallowed it down. "Man, I think I love you." Kego said as he put his elbow in the mashed potatoes that Jamie had ordered. Uryu sighed as he handed Kego napkins to clean off his elbow. "Never say that to me again." Jamie said so coldly that both youths looked at her in surprise. Jamie blinked and then laughed a little too forceful. She took a sip of tea. "Sorry, every boy in the family says that. Usually, I have to break bones and put them into a coma to get them to back off. You're not going to make me go that far, are you?" Kego paled and shook his head. Jamie smiled then and giggled before biting into a fried drumstick covered in soy sauce breading. "Every boy?" Jamie nodded. While diving into the mixed vegetables. "You have no idea how annoying it is when you rescue these little roosters and care for them like a mother hen. Then when you get them old enough, they try to get involved with you. It's just wrong. Gross really. " She shivered and put down her chopsticks. "But we aren't family. So, it's o.k." Kego said to which she gave him a dark threatening look. "I guess that's a big NO." Kego gave a nervous chuckle. Jamie sighed. "I love someone else. I can love no one else, my kind only has a one and only. So, it's really not you it's me." She giggled and then saw someone who made her pale. "What's wrong?"
"Oh, hello you're that student from earlier. Jamie, isn't it? I didn't catch your last name." Shunsui said as he sat next to Uryu. Jamie waved the waiter over. "Get our two new guests whatever they want and just add it on my table." Uryu blinked when she said two and then he felt the pressure. Byakuya Kuchiki came in and was waved over to the table by Shunsui. "Hey, she's good, all paid for." The table was well organized and had enough room in between each dish to be pleasing in sight. "No thank-you. We should get going. We...have papers to grade." Jamie shook her head. "No, no, no. You always have time for tea. I always make time. So, you definitely do. Come its Camomile Cinnamon it's my favorite."
Byakuya frowned. "Have you forgotten I know who you are." Jamie shook her head and then touched him on his hand as he sat turning him into his reaper state before touching him again and turning him back into his living realm state. Byakuya blinked. "Here take my cup I just poured it. It'll help settle your stomach." Shunsui studied the girl named Jamie. It was the girl from the cabin. The one who had made the illusions. "That's some trick. Who are you exactly?" Jamie eyed him. Her eyes somehow so old in a face so young. She'd seen much gone the whole nine yards and then some. She could be their greatest ally or their downfall. Tread lightly. He turned to Byakuya and seen him easing down the tea like the royal he was.
"You must come to the house I have my own stash of homemade Camomile Cinnamon tea there. If it doesn't suit you, I have a whole kitchen lab dedicated to finding an excellent tasting tea." Byakuya let the tea slid down to settle his stomach. What was wrong with him he never fell ill? Yet he felt nauseated. "How can one so young know how to make tea?" Jamie chuckled. "It's just one of my many hobbies. "I guess I'm what they would call a wizard. Long lived and trouble. As for my age, age is irrelevant the power is not. And secrecy is utmost." Shunsui nodded. He could sense there was more but one did not live long if one trusted everyone they began a friendship with. That would came with time. "So will you be taking my class?" Jamie settled into light conversation with the men at her table, yet the moment she smelled her she knew there would be trouble sooner then she liked and best delt with before the day was gone.
