Hello Friends!
German is one of the world's major languages and is the most widely-spoken first language in the European Union. I am beginner in that, so I would like to guide few beginners like to me in brushing up German.

Videos are becoming increasingly popular these days, cause they develop reading, understanding and phonetic skills altogether. I prefer few videos which are easy to apprehend.

Check out this video and follow the series. You will get to see sentences in the very beginning, don't be scared, after that each and every word will be explained later. Besides grammar is also not over looked. The video contains a couple of exercises in the end. I will suggest that until you can solve them without help, you keep on doing them before going to Lesson 2. Practice makes perfect!

You will have the urge to know the meanings of few words....help yourself from here!

If you are using Google Chrome, you will get a translate option to understand the above page.

Phonetic skill improvement is must. A wonderful site on translation with phonetics:

The loud speaker sign below the display area is to be clicked to get the phonetics.
Sometimes you might not get the sign, you have to then break up the sentence if necessary.

If you still need more, books are there to help you:
