Once they had put away everything, Liam and Beatrice sat on his bed. They were silent for a few minutes, thinking about what had just happened. Liam was still thinking about Beatirce's notebook, when he saw the large pile of pictures he had been looking at before Beatrice came inside. He picked up the pile, and asked, "Would you like to look at some pictures?" Beatrice smiled at him, and replied, "I would love to!"
They divided the pile into 3 different piles, and began looking. In the first pile, there were many interesting finds. One find was a picture of him at the premire of "Lilo and Stitch 2:Stitch Has A Glitch," and Beatrice was laughing hardly. "Oh, come on! I'm sure there's a picture of someone with a stranger hair-do than that!" Liam cried. "I know, but you look so weird!" Beatrice cried through laughter. There was also another picture of him with Saint Levi, playing the guitar. "You play the guitar?" Beatrice asked, amazed. Liam grinned as he replied, "I still do whenever I have time on my hands." "Your hair looks awfully long, too," she commented. "I'm really glad I had it cut," he replied.
In the second pile, there was a picture of him in the Dwight Englewood Jazz Band playing the drums. "How many instruments do you play? You're like a music legend!" she cried. "I play quite a few, but I prefer playing the guitar," he replied. There was also a picture of him as an infant, with a proud looking man holding him. "That's my father," he whispered, looking at the man in the picture. "What was he like?" Beatrice asked. "As far as I remember, he was a kind and caring man, until he got cancer, and..." he stopped, for he couldn't go on. "I-I'm sorry, Liam, I shouldn't have-" "It's alright, Beatrice. I just can't believe that it's been 19 years." They found another picture of him in a red jump-suit like outfit with a red cap. "I look so ridiculous!" he replied in laughter.
But perhaps the most interesting finds were in the third pile. There was a picture of him with a girl with long brown hair in a white dress. There was another picture of him with the same girl, but she was wearing a white shirt with jeans and a black vest. There was also one last picture of him with the same girl, but she was wearing a black dress. "Beatrice, she looks really familiar, doesn't she?" Liam asked. "Wait, Liam, I know who she is!" Beatrice cried. "You do?" he asked. "She's Emily Browning!" she replied. "Emily," he whispered. Memories were coming back to him.
"Liam, are you alright?" Beatrice asked. Liam came out of his daze, shocked. "Yeah, I'm fine," he replied, but he wasn't. He was suddenly remembering things that had happened years ago. "How long has it been since you've seen her?" she asked. "7 years," he whispered, "It's been 7 years since I've seen her or had any form of communication with her." Beatrice saw that something was wrong, and asked, "Liam, do you need to rest for a while?" "Yes, please," he replied. She left, leaving him alone. Liam soon realized something: She had left her notebook behind.
