Liam looked at the notebook, and hesitantly picked it up. Although it was very thick and worn down, it was very light, as if only writing was inside. He was about to open it, when he suddenly heard Beatrice cry, "Liam! Look who's on the news!"
Liam walked downstairs to see who it was, and was extremely surprised. "Emily? Why's she on the news?" he asked, sitting down next to Beatrice on the sofa, his eyes immediately glued on the screen. "They're saying that she starred in a new movie recently," Beatrice replied. "What's it called?" he asked. "Suckerpunch. It looks pretty cool. It came out late March I believe," she answered. Liam was in shock as he cried, "March?! But it's late November, and they're telling us about her NOW? Why are they-" "Shush. It's back on," Beatrice interrupted.
They immediately became silent as the reporters started to speak, "That's right! Suckerpuch star Emily Browning will be making an appearance here in the United States!" "I'm just wondering, Annabeth, but how come we're hearing about her now instead of 8 months ago?" "Well, Chandler, she's been touring all over the world for this movie, so it really comes as no surprise to me." "Where will she go in the United States?" "She will be in Manhattan, New York!" Liam and Beatrice froze in shock. "Here? Manhattan?" Beatrice whispered. The reporters continued, "Manhattan you said, Annabeth?" "That's right, Chandler! No one knows how long though, but she will be there on the 30th of November." "I wonder if there's someone watching this who's about to faint." "I bet there is, Chandler. I bet there is."

Beatrice was shocked, and she cried, "Oh my god, Liam! That's tomorrow! She's coming to Manhattan TOMORROW!!! You've got to look your best for her! Brush your hair! Clean your shoes! Brush your teeth! Use really strong mouthwash! And for your mother's sake, wear a clean outfit! There's nothing worse than-" "Beatrice! I really don't think I'm going to kiss her right after I say hi to her! And how old are you?" Liam interrupted. "I'm 13. Why?" she asked. "How do you know so much about this stuff?" he asked. "My older sister Aurora knew quite a lot about love," she whispered. "Of course she did. How could I forget?" he whispered.

She always thought that she had found the one that truly loved her, but it was always someone that used her, and it always ended tragicly. Finally, a month before the fire, she couldn't bear being heartbroken any longer, and commited suicide. Ever since then, Beatrice swore that she would never let a relationship end the way Aurora's did.
