I must admit, for the past 2 episodes, I haven't been very enthusiastic over the plot. We really haven't seen anything new, (that's to be expected from drama's), the only difference is what situation the characters are in, and in this case, it's a murderer plot circling around Cal.
He's bit into illegal underground fighting, and 80% of it is completley for buisness pourposes. Apparently. (How much do you want to bet we'll never hear about Cal's interest in this 'sport' again?)
But even with Cal caught in the middle of the mess, and everyone trying to cover up for him...I honestly didn't care.
I found myself more intrested on Gillian's own personal investigation on her new partner, Dr. Burns...or Dave Ellstrom...whatever the heck his name is. I don't expect to see him around long, considering the regular life span of so called 'new regulars'. (So far it's 2 episodes. I give this guy 3 more, MAX.)
And this is random, but what happened to Zoe? I loved watching the interaction between Cal and her, and they've seem to cut her out to focus more on his relationship with Gillian, but now that it's out of the picture (for 3 more episodes) I hope to see Zoe fill in the blanks...*shrug*
I don't really have much to say about this episode. I was good, but not spectacular. It isn't memorable, or even worth discussing.
However, Gillian's new relationship might set a few people off, but I'll leave that to the professional 'ship' fans. Hehehe
And where the heck was Eli? He was only in 2 scenes again!
He was doing so well...
