You should move on. You've had your chance with a great guy. Are you willing to give that something you liked so much to your friend? I would be very proud of you if you are.

Yeah you should let them be happy. Sometimes this happens, when you're not with them you remember all the good things and forget all the bad things, because from a distance they seem so happy together. You probably made the right decision.
Anyway if he was willing to go be with your friend, he couldn't have cared for you that much. Out there is someone who will be so deeply in love with you, he will fight for you no matter what. You will find him!

Personally, I think you should tell him how you feel and then let them & their relationship play out.

If it were me, I would pray about it FIRST (IF I remember to), IF you pray, and then muster your strength & composure & tell them BOTH... but very matter-of-factly as much as possible.

That way it will be out there and everyone can move on (but see-their deal may not work out and then you will not be held in suspicion or blame or thought ill of if you DO end up back together it will be for the RIGHT reasons, not because you kept it a secret, hid your feelings away or lied or stole him back from your friend or had him cheat!) Let it be but be truthful.
This may not go over well with them at first, but it is "feelings" and your truth, not an action to hurt them, even if they do not undertsand. If you do it lovingly & your motives are right and not decietful or scheming-then you should NOT feel bad no matter what or their raction-because that is THEIR choice.

You'll cry & hurt, but that is part of the natural part of it. you could loose them BOTH by being honest -sure &/or it could be awkward, but see, it WILL be awkward anyway-even if you keep it in, then neither of them knows your heart and you will have to talk to other people and/or watch in silence.

I've seen girls who choose the quiet & sneaky route or swoop in after-and it is NOT cool or good.

I don't think it right to ever try to break someone up or get in the way of a relationship, like you said. It doesn't mean your feelings are not valid or important EITHER, though. It also -in my opinion- doesn't mean it not worth the risk to be honest... I just think you should be honest and then back off, and tell them that, and let it ride and play out. It takes patience, but I think it is the right thing to do and that anything else could totally screw up one or more things (maybe important things & you don't wanna make that mistake KNOWINGLY. This deal -breaking up- wasn't done intentionally as a "knowingly" wrong thing. You did what you thought was right at the time...
