As you will be able to see, the original concept was quite different from the final product.Kurt van der Basch, the designer of the Sticky Sweet Tour intro, as part of the Rockstar production company, has published several concept art and story on his site. In its final incarnation, the Sweet Machine intro is heavily inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, setting the tone for Madonna's Willy Wonka-esque interpretation of Candy Shop, but there have been several alternative concepts by van der Basch.
