Wat is Misties last name?

I've read that the creators of the series never gave her a last name, but fans probably gave Misty the last name "Waterflower" from the 7th episode of Pokemon, "The Waterflowers of Cerulean City" which reffered to Misty's sisters. So yeah lol xD
