Even though i didn't read the whole series, i did read about him in the city of bones, i think it was... either way, i found him amazingly humorous and i wanted to hear more of him because he's freaking hilarous!! XD idk why, but i know a lot of gay guys and they are very funny. maybe that's just their nature or something, but i hope that didn't come across as a bad thing... ^^ '

I love Magnus! One of the things about him that stands out for me is how he has depth. Most characters that people write who are long-lived seem so shallow and strive to stay out of touch with the present and usually act like jerks to everyone. It's very sweet how he let Alec in and does everything in his power to help both Alec and, by extension, Alec's people; better yet, he wasn't just looking for a booty call, he genuinely cared for Alec.

Magnus is awesome. he adds spice to the series and he doesn't care if other people think he's strange so long as he can have a good time and dress like he wants to (and be with Alec). also i think it's so sweet that he does so much for Alec, stays all quiet for him and stuff, it's lovely.
