For those of you who know don’t know who he is, Roddy McDowall was an English-American actor, film director, and voice artist, best known for playing Cornelius on ‘Planet of the Apes’. I actually used to like him and really enjoyed his roles in the ‘Planet of the Apes’ series. However, then I grew up and learned what a scumbag he was. If for some reason, you are a fan of him then stop reading right now because there is nothing here for you.

I know this movie came out in 1960. I know that things were different then. But I watched Where The Boys Are for the first time in the year 2016, and BOY, do I have some things to say about it.

I picked up a VHS copy of link (along with a heap of other old beach movies) at a thrift shop, thinking it would be cute and summery 60s fun. Diiidn't quite turn out that way.

Actress/Filmmaker Salina Duplessis brings her award-winning dark comedy short film “My Name is Karma” to the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles on February 7th.
