Salt is one of those rare action films that has non-stop action hitting for ninety minutes straight and everything is done with a brain. Originally written for a star actor, in which Tom Cruise was the first candidate, but after he refused because he was too similar to his role in Mission: Impossible makers changed the script and took on Angelina Jolie to play the same role reworked for a first female lead.
