i think itachi cause itachi sacrifices his own clan and his pride for saving his brother and most importantly the village and he should be considered the true hero he accepted hate in place of love and this is what it makes his story tragic

(Almost) everyone had a tragic childhood, but to me, none come close to Gaara's suffering.
It was just... so messed up beyond words. Being all alone and hated by everyone, living in fear of being assassinated any moment (though no one could even touch him cause he's so awesome >.>), and being betrayed by the only person he thought cared for him.
