I'm sure many people know I ship CaptainSwan, but I will try to keep this article as unbiased as possible and will enter a mental neutral zone.

It's unfortunate, but I see a lot of negative encounters between SwanFire shippers and CaptainSwan shippers. More negative than positive, too. Can this be changed? I think so. How? Respect.

But to clarify on what's respectful and what's disrespectful, here are some examples:

Respectful

"I think Neal and Emma would make a good couple because they have similar backgrounds and they've been through a lot."

"I don't think Emma and Neal would make a good couple...

It has come to my attention that some people (SwanFire shippers, it usually seems) genuinely don't understand why the CaptainSwan ship even exists. And I just want to say, before I get started, that it is not my intention to start a ship war between CaptainSwan and SwanFire. The intention of this article is not to convert SwanFire shippers, but to help them understand where some CaptainSwan shippers might be coming from.

This article is not intended to speak on behalf of all CaptainSwan shippers because while we agree on the Emma x Hook relationship, we may not all be on the ship for the same...

After reading katarlover's article I made this long comment about it. I asked him if he minded if I posted the response as a separate article--he said yes, so here we go. I tried to be respectful about it, feel free to agree or disagree, just be respectful about it.

I can agree to some extent that she's a hypocrite, but not for that reason. I feel like that is more so denial and a twisted sense of justice. At that point she was totally (by some faltered mental state) convinced she was in the right, and that she really wasn't evil. In the most recent season she admits that she's wrong many times;...

People seems to have a lot of issues with Emma and some of the choices she made. She has never been a favourite character of mine but I really feel dreadful for her. She was forced into a lot of shitty situations where she had to make terrible decisions and generally always chooses to do right by other people even if it will bring her heartache.

Starting at the very beginning, one of the main things that Emma did that people use against her is her giving up Henry. I've seen her called a terrible person, a bad mother, and all sorts of things because of this and the kicker? She didn't have a choice!...

**•Lana Parrilla Talks About Regina Teaching Emma Magic, Their Developing Relationship & Her Own Adeventure In Neverland!•**

Regina's seemingly strong dislike of Emma:
"It was never a personal hatred Regina had for Emma, she was a threat. Regina wanted to stop her from taking Henry. She did extreme things to stop this extreme threat of losing her son for good. It wasn't a personal vendetta, but it was the risk of losing the thing that meant everything to her, Henry."

"Now that she is working with Emma, Hook (and the Charmings) to get Henry back. Regina & Emma call themselves "the Moms"...

The Boy Who Ran Away or the story of Bealfire

It all started with a boy that had lost his father. This was not uncommon at that time because the country was at war, but he had not lost his father in the war as the other boys had. He had lost him to a great darkness that had consumed all that was good in his father, all that he had loved. This darkness went by the name of magic.

The father that had loved him, cared for him, comforted him when his mother had been killed was gone. Magic had killed him or was killing him and replacing him with a cruel man filled with hate that hurt everyone around...

I think one of the reasons I love Rumple so much is the fact that he is quite possibly one of the most intelligent people on the show and he is definitely the best master manipulator. From the moment he lost Bae through the portal he was looking for a way to get him back. He was so focused on reuniting with his son that every flashback scene he is in he is in some way working toward getting to the Land Without Magic.

Let's recap:

The moment he loses Bae through the portal he meets the Blue Fairy who he tricks into telling him that there is a curse that will take everyone there. There is no other...

This is another topic that seems to come up often on this spot. A good many people thing it was dumb of Regina to trust her mom and stupid of her to mourn her mom's passing. I just wanted to share my take on this issue. I'm not directing it at anyone person either, so I hope it doesn't come off like that to anyone. If it does, that's probably because some of my points are taken from comments I previously typed (because I'm a lazyarse.) :P

To start off I'd like to point out that was all alone until her mother came to Storybrook, she literally had no one, no one at all. And then finally someone...
