Harry's POV-

I put my hands in my pockets as we arrive at a popular mall and go inside. Dylan is walking next to Louis, and I can’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy. She smiles and looks at the ground. She’s always done that, it’s like her signature move. But she has no idea how much more beautiful it makes her look. “I see you staring.” Niall whispers in my ear. I blush and look away. “I was not.” I denied, awkwardly scratching my head. “Right.” Liam joins in. “Harry, it’s so obvious you’re into Dylan.” I look at them both. “Shut up. It doesn’t matter if I’m into her. She‘s not into me.” Niall burst out laughing, which caused Louis and Dylan to look at us. I bit my lip as her eyes meet mine.

“What’s going on?” she asks, coming over next to me. “Harry is just being a big green-eyed monster.” Niall says. I punch him in the arm. “That’s funny, Niall.” Dylan laughs. “But Harry doesn’t get jealous over anything. He’s Mr. Ultra Suave.” I grinned at her and she smiles back. “Anyway.” Zayn says, clearing his throat. Dylan runs off ahead to a jewelry store and pauses at one of the display booths. Louis walks over to me. “You do know that I don’t like Dylan right?” I looked at him. “Why are you telling me this?” Niall groaned and Louis smirked, “Because you like her!” I glared at them. “Stop it. I mean it, guys.”

I don’t know why I get so tongue-tied whenever she’s around, I think to myself. I’m usually not like that with any girl I talk to. Why is Dylan different? Walking up behind her, I noticed her fancying a silver necklace with a heart pendant with diamonds on it. “Do you like that?” I asked her. Dylan looks at me shyly. “It’s pretty.” she admits. “But it’s prettier in the case.” I smiled at her, and she skipped back to the guys. “One of these please.” I told the jeweler. She pulled out the necklace and put it in a box. “That’s going to be three thousand pounds.” I reached in my pocket and pulled out my credit card. “Not a problem.” She exchanges the box for my credit card and then returns my card. “Thank you. Have a good day.” I called, quickly pocketing the box before Dylan realizes why I stayed behind so long.

We spent a few more hours in the mall, and then we headed back to the hotel we were staying at. “Hey, Dyl.” I say. “Come here.” The rest of the guys disappeared into the hotel room. “What is it, Harry?” she asks. “I got you something.” I say, nervously pulling out the jewelry box and taking out the necklace. Dylan is silent. “Harry, how much did that cost?” she asked me. “It doesn’t matter how much it cost.” I tell her shyly. “You’re worth every penny spent on it.” Dylan looked at the necklace, then at me. “I can’t believe you did that.” I wrinkle my forehead in confusion as she crosses her arms.
