Tonight we say goodbye to "One Tree Hill" after nine years on the air, but the cast and crew said goodbye in mid-November when picture wrapped on the 187th episode in Wilmington, NC. 'Castle' casting scoop: 'White Collar' actress Hilarie Burton tapped for Kardashian-esque guest role

I’ve always wanted to see a White Collar/Castle crossover and it looks like I’m an inch closer to my dream.
White Collar actress Hilarie Burton is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of ABC’s Castle, EW has learned. Burton, who also played Peyton on CW’s One Tree Hill for six seasons, will play Kay Cappuccio, a reality TV star with good looks, charisma, and a knockout bod. According to casting scoop, the tabloid darling has “achieved significant fame and fortune without possessing any discernible skill or talent” and “is famous mostly for being famous.” Sounds like someone we know… not that I’m naming names — because I already did in the headline.
The character, however, is more complex than some might think, as she both relishes the spotlight and “at the same time feels like a prisoner of her own celebrity lifestyle.”
Burton will appear in episode 13, “An Embarrassment of Bitches,” set to air in 2012.

One Tree Hill Scoop: Hilarie Burton Reveals Why Her Character Won't Be There in the Very End

We wish we could report that last night, Hilarie Burton told us at the Breaking Dawn premiere that she would be returning to One Tree Hill for the series finale, but alas, she still will be a no-show.

We asked Burton (who attended the premiere with beau Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, Weeds) where she thinks Peyton Scott would be now since driving off into the sunset with her hubby Lucas and their newborn baby.

"She's probably super pregnant with four or five," she tells us. "She's having a Lucas Scott little, I'm sure!"

That's an intense scenario, and Morgan definitely agreed....

Making sense of the time in OTH

I know many people including me don't know which year or how old they are in tree hill, but basing on 4x02 where they show Brooke's 18th birthday i might be able to make sense of it after all

If Brooke is eighteen in S4 than the time would be like this:

First season: Brooke is sixteen
Second season: Brooke is seventeen
Third season: Brooke is seventeen
Fourth season: Brooke is eighteen
Fifth season(after a 4 year jump): Brooke is twenty-two
Sixth season: Brooke is twenty-three
Seventh season(after a 14 months jump): Brooke is twenty-five
Eighth season: Brooke is twenty-six and in the season finale after the 1 year time jump she is twenty-seven.

Hopefully i got it right! Oh, and it's year 2014. I think

!’s Watch with Kristin blog reported late on Friday that the couple formerly known as Leyton will probably be returning to One Tree Hill before Season 8 is through. The original plan was to bring them back for Brooke’s (Sophia Bush) two-episode wedding (planned to air sometime during the first 13 episodes of the season), but now that The CW has ordered six additional scripts, Murray and Burton might return closer to the season (series?) finale.
