	leyton_love picked Brooke: I love Brooke, but i just think that she's not as invloved with the other characters as everyone else. Whereas if you took, say, Lucas away, just about everyone in the show would be affected. Brooke, although she has a great storyline, doesn't really have much to do with anyone. Sure, if you took her away, Lucas and Peyton and everyone else would be upset, but the entire storyline wouldn't have to change completely if she left the show. 	laughingGrl picked Brooke: lucas and nathan are the main two no duh. brooke is important, but her storyline seems to interlock with only smaller characters or peyton if anyone at all. peyton is really important because her storyline goes with lucas, brooke, and haley really well. and haley goes with luke and nathan, and peyton with the music. so brooke has the least amount of people with her storyline. posted over a year ago.

	1treehillfan picked Brooke: I honestly think they are all important to the show but I picked Brooke because Nathan And Haley is a VERY important relationship in the show, And we need Haley around to knock some sense into the characters- And now that brucas is end game we need Peyton and Lucas around for leyton... so I think that Brooke isn't really needed as much as the others. Because of him there was all the fighting between Nate and Luke,,he killed Keith something that changed many things and his story line has to do with Nathan,Lucas,Jamie,Deb and Haley (because of Jamie)! I think too that Brooke is the less important because Lucas&Nathan are the main two,,Haley is Nathan's wife and Lucas's BEST friend! 	Broody_4_Cheery picked Nathan: i picked nathan, because even though he is meant to be one of the two main characters he doesnt really seem that important, other than being related to people. he doesnt have many stand alone storylines and his personality doesnt add a huge difference to the show. lucas is by far the core character, the person who connects them all and keeps them connected, he has a strong history with everyone. Peyton is the dramatic factor, adds a tortured character and a sort of poetry to the show, dont know quiet how to explain it, brooke adds a lighter mood, people have complained about her humour lacking in sn 5 what would it be like if she was gone for good, that humour and lighter side is very important to the show, and haley, everyones friend, is the moral centre, the girl next door quality. the show still needs nathan but i dont think his character brings as much to it as the others, and there for isnt as important though they are ALL in important and that is why its the core 5 not 6 or 4. posted over a year ago.

	svety74 picked Brooke: For me all are important. A show like OTH which is built on 5 core people can't survive without one [just look at OC without Marissa]. IMO Naley and Leyton are important for a reason. They are the couples of the show, the story revolves around two brothers and their families i.e Peyton and Haley. My least favourite character is Nathan because his storylines revolves around basketball but he is a part of Naley. Brooke on the other hand, is a friend to everyone but doesn't have a family on OTH and her storylines are quiet distant from the rest like Sam, Angie, Julian & the stalker storyline are an extra to the show. posted over a year ago.
