Hi, everyone! Antonia here, and I promised that I would do an article like this. I know that several of you have done this for your pets, past and present. This time, I'm doing one of my three dogs. Here it goes.

1. What are your pets' names? Their names are Roxy, River, and Roscoe.

2. What kind of pets are they and what breeds? Roxy is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier (a Pit Bull breed). River is a Siberian Husky. Roscoe is a Gerberian Shepsky (German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix).

3. How long have you had your pets? I've had Roxy since February 2009, so I've had her for ten whole years. I've had River since late May 2017, so it will be two years in May. I've had Roscoe since October, I think, so it's been four months.

4. How did you get your pets? Roxy had to go to a new home, because her owner was moving to a place that didn't allow dogs, so I adopted her. River was rescued from an abusive owner as a puppy. Roscoe's story is similar to Roxy's. The only difference is Roscoe's owner's apartment allowed dogs, but his owner didn't have time for him anymore.

5. How old are your pets? Roxy is ten and a half. She'll be eleven on August 7. River is one and ten months. She'll be two on April 6. Roscoe is almost ten months old. He'll be one on April 28.

6. What are some quirky things about your pets' personalities? Roxy likes lettuce. Most dogs won't even touch it. River is a relatively quiet dog, even though Siberian Huskies are known for being vocal. She only howls when excited, and she'll occasionally "talk" to me. She never ever barks. Of course, Huskies aren't typically barkers. Roscoe plays dead to get out of doing things he'd rather not do, like going to the vet, but he cannot do it convincingly, because he never stays still. He also has a habit of opening one eye to see if anyone is buying it. Another quirk of Roscoe's is he loves to get in the bathtub or the shower. If you're taking a shower or a bath, you better keep the bathroom door closed, or Roscoe's coming in.

7. What does your relationship with your pets mean to you? Everything, enough said.

8. What are some of your favorite past times with your pets? I love walking and hiking with my dogs. I also enjoy chilling in the backyard with them.

9. What nicknames do you call your pets? I tend to call Roxy "Roxy Loxy". I can't help it. I sometimes call her "Miss Alpha", because she's the alpha of the dogs. I often call River "Little Girl", even though she's not so little anymore. She's actually big in comparison to Roxy, but I've had that nickname for River since she was a puppy. I also call her "Little Sweetheart" and "Rivs". I sometimes tend to call Roscoe "Roscoe Bosco". Most of the time, I call him "Big Goof".

There you have it. I hope you can take pleasure in learning about my dogs. If you didn't enjoy it, please be respectful. If you can't do that, then, as my dear friend Paul would say, piss off!

Peace and love,
-Antonia
As the months passed, the hate group began to hate Louise, and she was kicked out. I found it rather amusing. I said, "It's pretty embarrassing when a hate group you like hates you." She became pale with embarrassment. "What's wrong, Louise?" I said without much sympathy. "You're looking quite pale." She glared at me. "Yeah," Gavin said, "your face is starting to match the cliffs of Dover." I fell on the ground laughing. Louise said, "You suck, Gavin!" He said, "Hey, I'm not the one who beats the hell out of my sibling. Do you think you're trying to make her holy or something?" I continued...

The next morning, I woke up to a wonderful smell. Gavin's mother was cooking breakfast. She insisted that I stay for breakfast, so I took the kind offer. I thanked Gavin and his family for their kindness and went on my way. Gavin insisted on walking with me, so I said, "Okay. It won't be so lonely that way." Along the way, we ran into my parents. My mother said, "Quinn, we've been looking everywhere for you. Where have you been?" I explained everything. My father thanked Gavin for helping me out. They then worked it out that Gavin's house would be my safe place if my parents would not be home....

As I was making my way back home, I didn't notice that my shoelaces were untied. I didn't care either. I tripped and fell. Just then, someone helped me up and asked, "Are you all right?" I said, "Yeah. Why do you care?" He said, "I was just making sure you weren't hurt. That's all." I said, "Sure. You'll act like you care, and then, you'll go waltzing to Louise just like everybody else!" He said, "I'm sorry. Who's Louise?" I looked at him, and said, "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize you were new here." He said, "There's no hard feelings." He spoke in an English accent. He appeared to be about...

One night, my grandmother came to me in a dream. She said, "It seems that things aren't going so well here." I said, "No, they're not. Louise is teaching Sunday school for a hate group." My grandmother said, "Louise is awful young to be a Sunday school teacher. She's hardly a woman yet. She's only sixteen." I told my grandmother everything Louise had said to me. My grandmother said, "Those are horrible things to say, especially to a child. You haven't even turned twelve yet." I said, "I know." The next morning, I reluctantly went to school as usual. Kyle was my only friend. I could talk to...

I woke up in the middle of the night, frightened out of my wits. I was relieved to see the light from my night light. I took some deep breaths and said to myself, "It's all right, Quinn. You just had a nightmare." I stared at the ceiling, reflecting on the events of the past couple of weeks. After my grandparents passed away, I had moved to a different state with my family. Mother wanted to keep the tradition of going to church, since my grandfather was a pastor. Unfortunately, we unwittingly ended up with a hate group, similar to that of Westboro Baptist Church. My older sister, Louise, loved...

I haven't written any articles on my fan club in a while. I felt like writing a eulogy about my dog, Fluffy. Fluffy was my second female dog. I remember when I got her. My aunt and uncle and I were visiting with my grandmother's sister in Florida. One of her neighbors happened to be breeding Smooth Collie puppies. I took one of them home with me, and I named her Fluffy for the sake of being ironic. She was the most vocal of all the dogs I've had. She was also very motherly. When we adopted Roxy, my Pit Bull, Fluffy accepted the pup as her own. She did the same with my Rottweiler, Stone, and with my newest dog, River. When my first dog, Diesel, passed away, Fluffy grieved more than the other dogs, save for Sadie, my Labrador. Fluffy grieved really hard when we lost Sadie a year ago. Fluffy was really smart, too. She knew hundreds of words and phrases, and I cannot possibly name all of them. I miss her very much, and so does everyone else. I'll never forget her. May she rest in peace.
It was the last night of New Religion's tour. After playing most of the songs from their album, they played a few cover songs, including System of a Down's "Ego Brain". That song had helped Erin through many, many hard times. Towards the end of the concert, Erin decided to play the final song. She said, "I'm going to play the last song. Many of you who ever received an autograph from me may or may not have noticed that I always sign right-handed, yet I always play guitar left-handed. Well, here's the reason. I do this in memory of my dear friend, Barry. He was a big Paul McCartney fan. When...

Some weeks passed, and the members of New Religion were asked to give another interview. The interviewer asked, "How did you all meet?" Erin said, "We all met in high school, except Paul and I met before then." Paul said, "Erin and I met in the eighth grade. She had recently lost her best friend, and she was depressed. I knew she needed a friend." Lola said, "They later met me and Carl in high school, and we started a band." The interviewer asked, "How did you come up with the name, New Religion?" Erin said, "Well, when I was a kid, I thought I was a Christian, but I started to become disillusioned...

It was close to Christmas. The members of New Religion decided to go spend time was their families. Sadly, Erin's grandmother passed away. It was devastating for Erin. When New Religion picked up their tour, many people wanted to interview Erin. Lola said, "She lost a loved one. How do you think she's doing?!" Carl said, "Erin needs time to mourn her grandmother. She doesn't need a microphone in her face." Paul said, "She's been through so much. Leave her alone!" Erin thanked her friends for standing up for her. She later said, "I now know how Paul McCartney felt after John Lennon got shot." Lola hugged her. Things did get better for Erin with time. She lost so many she loved, but she kept going and never gave up.

One day, the members of New Religion went on a hiking trail. During the hike, Paul got carried away and did not pay attention to the slope in front of him. He took a hard fall. His mates rushed to the slope. They could see him lying on the hard ground. "Paul!" They cried. "Are you okay?!" He grunted in response. Lola said, "Oh, no! He's hurt!" Erin carefully made her way down to Paul. Carl and Lola followed. Erin knelt down beside of her friend. He groaned in pain. She said, "Talk to me, Paul." He said, "I think I've broken my leg." Lola and Carl made it to Paul. Carl asked, "Paul, do you think...

The members of New Religion had been to New York. Their next stop in their tour was Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was a bit different from New York, but they thought it was a beautiful city. Erin especially liked it. She said, "So far, the only city I've seen that was more beautiful than this was Rockingham, North Carolina." Paul said, "It certainly a beautiful city. If I'm thinking correctly, one of the members of Red Hot Chili Peppers was born here." Lola said, "Yeah, I think so. It was Anthony Kiedis, wasn't it?" Carl said, "Yes, it was. He was born here on November 1, 1962." Paul said, "Geez!...

The members of New Religion had released their first album, Broken and Mended, which was named for Erin's song. After the release of the album, the band went on tour. Carl was the most excited about it. He had traveled to many places, and he really enjoyed it. He said, "I can't wait to start our tour. I love to travel!" Erin was the most nervous, as she was afraid of heights. She said, "I'm not really comfortable with heights." Lola said, "I'm sure you'll be fine." Erin said, "If you get me high enough, I'll pass out." Paul said, "Don't worry, Erin. I'll sit by the window." Their first show...

The day after I was released from the hospital, my friend, Alyssa, paid me a visit. She said, "I just heard what had happened. Are you okay?" I said, "I'm badly hurt, but the doctor said I should recover." She said, "I'm glad for that. Why didn't you come to me instead of running away?" I said, "I just didn't think things through, Alyssa." She said, "Ellie, promise me you won't run away. You'll come to me instead." I smiled and said, "It's a deal!" Sometime later, Grandpa and I found the owner of the house on the other side of the forest. That kind man saved my life. The least I could do was...

Lying on the snow-covered ground, injured, I was sure I was going to die. I then saw the owner of the house approaching me. I had seen him in his yard on many occasions, but I never saw him up close until that day. He knelt down beside me. He asked, "What are you doing out here by yourself?" I faintly said, "I got lost in the blizzard." He noticed the blood-stained pants leg. He said, "You don't look so good. You're pale." He then pulled up my pants leg and saw my leg was badly wounded. He said, "You're badly hurt, too. I better get you to a hospital." He picked me up to carry me to his truck....

I continued walking through the forest. It was so cold. I could hear the snow crunching under my feet. Suddenly, it began to snow. I couldn't really see where I was going. I made another step, and I heard a snapping sound. Immediately after the snapping sound, I felt a sharp, stabbing pain in my leg. I thought, I must've broken my leg. I'll try to get up to see the damage. When I tried to get up, it felt like something was keeping me from getting off the ground. It was almost as if I was chained. I uncovered a hunter's trap in the snow. Grandpa had shown me how to disassemble a hunter's trap...

It was a Saturday morning. I had spent Friday night with my grandparents. Grandpa took me home Saturday afternoon. Father was waiting at the door. He said, "Ellie, you have homework this weekend." I said, "I already did it last night, Father. I did it before going to Grandma and Grandpa's. Don't you remember?" Father glared at me and said, "Don't get smart with me, Ellie." I said, "I'm not being smart with you. I'm telling the truth." He said, "Let me give you what my father gave me." He slapped me across the face. The forced knocked me to the ground. Grandpa put himself between me and Father...

Shortly after coming home that evening, Father got some alcohol to drink. One drink led to another, and the next thing I knew, he was shouting at me. He said, "Grandpa told you about his hellish lifestyle, didn't he?!" I said, "I don't think it's hellish. He didn't hurt anybody." Father said, "I suppose now you want to live that lifestyle." I said, "Father, it doesn't matter how one lives, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. It's fine to be a Christian, but it's not okay to beat the hell out of people in the name of it." I guess he knew I was referring to him. He beat on me a while and...

Every Sunday, my parents and I would go to my grandparents' house. Grandma always fixed a nice lunch. After helping Grandma wash the dishes, I would go outside, weather permitting. Usually, I'd find Grandpa sitting under the big White Oak in his garden area. Often, his Alaskan Malamute, which he named Wolf, would sit next to him. One Sunday, he said, "Hi, Ellie. Why don't you join me?" I did. Grandpa actually introduced Mother to the Beatles. I asked him about John Lennon's statement about the Beatles being "more popular than Jesus." Grandpa said, "That John. He was always very opinionated...

It was my twelfth birthday. After the celebration, I was in the study room, browsing the Internet on my computer. As I was browsing the Internet, I saw something that caught my attention. It was a heading that said, "Today is the 50th anniversary of when John Lennon said that the Beatles are more popular than Jesus." I was curious. I thought, Is that why Father doesn't like the fact that Mother and I are Beatles fans? Now, I knew a bit about the Beatles. I knew that they were extremely popular in the 60's. I knew that they were synonymous with the British Invasion. I knew about the Paul is...

The Devil Wants Peace
After high school, Allen, Peter, and I met Stan, and he became our drummer. After we became famous, I had a cabin built in the mountains. Despite the fact I no longer lived with him, Uncle Bob continued to support our band until he was tragically killed in a car crash. I blamed myself at first, because I had a bad argument with him before he died, but in a dream, he told me he forgave me. I later dated an incredible woman named Violet. It didn't work out, unfortunately. Thankfully, it ended on good terms, and we're still good friends, but we just don't function as lovers....
