Lilia's pov: im just so strange... a goth girl who only feels alive in the sun. i didn't understand it till i found out who i really was...
it was my favorite day of the week, Friday, and it was Friday the 13th. it was my lucky day. or that was what i thought till i was walking home from school, and a huge frankenchihuahua jump on my back. by frankenchihuahua, i mean it was distorted, like a bunch of animals mashed together with the head of a chihuahua. freaky! i ran and this guy with horns told me to follow him. i was so scared i didn't even stop to think. we hopped it a bus and rode to camp half blood. "i gotta call my mom." i said. "no. you cant." the kid with the horns said. "why?" i demanded. "monsters trace cell phone use." he said it like it should be obvious. "what?" i was confused. "you gotta go see chiron." he said. i followed, and everyone stared at me. i was used to it by then, but those were different stares than what i was used to. it was like they were expecting me to do a flip or something. i just kept walking, but i could feel the stares on the back of my head. we came to a huge house. horn dude led me inside. a guy that was half horse was playing a card game with a random dude in a purple shirt. "chiron, i need to talk to you." horn dude said. "OK" the horse guy replied. they walked outside. i studied the floor. it was blue carpet, the same shade as the house was painted. the to guys walked back inside. "welcome, Lilia, to camp half blood." the horse guy said. "im groover." the horn guy said. all of a sudden, a really hot feeling warmed my head to a comfy temperature. they both looked up above my head. "you have been claimed." the horse guy said all serious like.i blacked out.

dreamed of an owl and a horse walking peacefully along the seashore. They seemed powerful. The horse had a sea green mane but he had a coat of sparkling silver. The owl was wearing a battle armor . She (I thought the owl was a girl because of her feminine grace) flew over the back of the horse and embraced its mane with her long, graceful wings. The two ceased in a cave as soon as the sky began to rain. The owl lit a fire by spreading her wings. The horse lay down in a feather-made mattress which seemed to be weaved by a hand.The cave also appeared to be theirs.
