It took a while—but they got there. Jake and Peyton may never have been the couple creator Mark Schwahn had as an 'original vision' and perhaps this is why their romantic storyline was short-lived, dubbed by many of those who didn't care as not meant to be, but there is no doubt in my mind that whatever led for the love between them to blossom within each other's hearts is INEVITABLE.
Jake and Peyton grew up in the same town, went to the same school and hung out in the same crowd, and although Schwahn never planned on it, he did take a chance on these characters to interact and their scenes...
