What you say is just all nice and well, but it is clear that you want to say that 'something having is own scale' rather then being measured on one is better. Every human would love those words at first sight, but when you use deeper philosophy you can see that the real meaning or importance of in this case, money and life, isn't important.
Money is something made by us, life is something very different and adding those 2 in the same line is---> crap...(oops!)

I hope you don't mind, but how about a different approach. "The value of items and money are weighed on the scale of time, the value of a life is weighed on the scale of eternity"

money and gold stays and does not die, yet is used without thanks. a life too should be given with thanks as it starts with a joyish heated moment.life is precious, with ten commandments

Your comments is not a conclusion but an ongoing search for the importance of life as opposed to other things in life! The real conclusion is as follows and is simple = Life is simply PRICELESS!!!!
