Is Tangled a pixar movie?

Nope, Tangled was purely a product of the Walt Disney Animation Studios. Pixar had nothing to do with the film. If you look on the poster, you only find Disney's logo, no Pixar logo.

It's from Walt Disney,. and tangled is based from a children book Rapunzel so its clear that its not from the mind of Pixar because Pixar doesnt base their movies from books or fairytale. Tangled, while not made directly under the Pixar banner, certainly had a lot help from Pixar. John Lassetter, the director of many Pixar movies, was even a producer of the film. Considering that Pixar is owned by Disney that shouldn't be a surprise.


An analogy to saying Tangled had no help or influence from Pixar would be like saying a Chevy Silverado has nothing to do with GM.
