Anyone know Jonathan Groff's status for season 3?

glee has been so severely criticized that I think maybe they want to see if the whole thing can be "fixed" somehow. One of the main complaints is the guest stars stealing the main cast spotlight. It is something that bothers me too, I mean, paltrow sang more than some actors working on the show for 2 years. But I think Jesse is still a relevant character, and Jonathan Groff fans may hold some power... Let's just keep begging him to comeback =)
Based on what I see/hear, the writers seem to change their minds an awful lot

One of the original spoilers that came out was that he was to be kept around throughout season 3. Then Ryan released the bombshell that totally contradicted the original spoilers, so I'm pretty sure they turned out to be 'foilers.

I do have a feeling that what Ryan meant by "no guest stars" were the ones not already heavily ingrained into the plot. Jesse was established in season 1 so he is hardly a newly introduced guest star, more like an occasional recurring character.

Plotwise, I think Will may want to keep him around if he wants to win nationals next season. All the advice he gave to the club (even the ridiculous stuff) was actually dead on accurate, they ignored him and look what happened at nationals. Their performance was an unrehearsed mess LOL.

I've herd that Jesse is going to become the coach of vocal adrenaline. I totally ship St.Berry but, I think that being the coach of VA would make it so much harder to work around. Finchele seem pretty strong at the moment, which i 100% despise. If Ryan Murphy turns Jon's character into the cruel and caniving type then, as far as i'm concerned, glee is over. Finchele always end up together in the end. bleh makes me want to spew my guts out.
