I think that you should tell him how you feel, you say your friend is only dating him because she knows you like him, well SHE IS NOT A FRIEND, freinds do not do that to each other.
I would tell him the truth but don't tell him that she's only dating him to get to you cause she may not be but if you see her cheating on him with another guy then definately tell him.
Maybe you should talk to your friend too, tell her how you feel. Talk to her first and then your friend that's a guy.
