In my Sex Ed class, the nurses said that "skin touching any part of the genitals is considered sex", so I would say no.
Virginity is an idea, not necessarily a physical component in the body. If you have sex, you lose the idea that you're a virgin. I would think that lesbian sex is still considered sex, because you can still transmit diseases through it.

If you're anywhere near your own vagina in a sexual way, it is considered as having sex. But you're still a virgin is no penis has knocked on the door yet.
The last sentence is incorrect. She could use a dildo, it would be the same. And for the other part... I can't say I agree. I count lesbians as virgins.
it all depends on whether or not there is penetration. lesbians or bi's can use strapons or other toys and then she wouldnt b a virgin. it all depends on if ur cherry (hyman) is popped or not not if there is a penis!
that would b correct if the hymen is broken ( cherry is popped). there could b penetration n it may not b deep enough to break it then she would still b a virgin.
Usually, a girl loses her virginity if a man has intercourse with her.
So if two women have sex and there's no penetration, then perhaps they are (in a strange way) still virgins.
But a lesbian can use a finger, a toy, various objects to replace a guy's...you know. And in those cases, no. Because penetration is penetration. If that happened, then no. She wouldn't be a virgin.
No,it's up to you to decide where you draw the line for sex. What is sex for me might not be sex for you. A lesbian that has never slept with a guy is what I think you call a "gold star" lesbian...
