They were incredibly influential in politics and in terms of social change. (John Lennon especially.) Even today, they still sell albums by the millions. They have helped to define rock and roll itself, showed what it's all about. They led the British invasion as well. Not to mention that their sound was amazing, as was their songwriting and lyrics.
OH MY GOD HOW DARE YOU ASK A QUESTION LIKE THIS?!?!?!?!?! i personally think they are both AWESEOMELY AWESEOME!!! bands BUT science HAS proven that The Beatles ARE the greatest band of ALL time so i think you know where that leaves me....BUT the Rolling Stones are still REALLY awesome!
