which is worse-failing or never trying?

Both because never trying is failing

FAILING. I'd rather never try then fail and make a fool of myself and have wasted my time trying.

From my own experiences, I can tell you that depending on the situation, Never Trying is much, much worse.

It depends on whether you are more sensitive to humiliation, in which case trying and failing would be worse. Or if you are more sensitive to regret, in which case nnever trying at all would be worse.

For me, I'm not easily humiliated and my ego would be more dented if I didn't try at all, because I am one of those 'what if' people who like to just go for it. lol ^^

Never trying. Because when you fail, at least you have the spine to actually try. Failing... meh, just try again. But if you never try, you never succeed.

I think failing is worse...i mean if you never try you won't fail and you will never be disappointed.

This way you are playing on the safe side and you won't get hurt
