I don't mean to offend anyone, but is it bad that I want to remember what happened on 9/11?

I, my dad, and my little sisters would've seen the twin towers from our apartment. I was, like, 4.

I don't remember what I saw, but I see the memorial tv specials all the time.

I just want to know what I was doing before the planes crashed into the buildings.

Is that bad?

I know it probably doesn't make sense, but please answer the the question.

Absolutely not! It's not a bad thing to want to remember, especially with such an important historical event. It could have shaped you more, and given you a story to tell your grandkids. I don't find it at all disrespectful that you want to remember something that greatly shaped our history.

Nope, curiosity is part of life. Sometimes I want to remember that day as well, just to see what I was doing.
