Who's cruel idea was it to put the 's' in lisp?

(I hate my brain for thinking too much today...)

This is so true! My friend has a lisp,... and he's not "comfortable" saying the word.

(*sigh* for those of you who don't know what a "lisp" is, it's a speech impediment, also known as sigmatism, and it makes the person pronounce words with "s" all funny and spitty.)

What would be a better name for a "lisp"? .__.
