Trust me, don't be friends with her again. Back in sixth grade, I had this really good friend. We were so close. We talked about everything. We had each others' backs. And then that day came when this really popular girl in our class made me feel awful. So I talked to my friend about her. And guess what? My "friend" told that girl that I called her a SLUT, a B*TCH, and a WHORE. Oh, and also that she cakes on eyeliner. And I'm like You have got to be darn kidding me!

But anyway, I know how you feel. Sure you've been friends with her for 8 years, but you know you're most likely gonna get hurt again. Everyone has been betrayed before. You're not the only one. And if everyone in school is still against you, don't worry about it. Just ignore it and keep your mind on school. Not on how to get people to like you. You might not have your "friend", but you'll find someone better, trust me. I've had some betrayals by "friends". But I've kept my mind on school, and now I've found my two close friends. They're guys, Christian and Derynn. They're the best friends you could ever have. You'll find at least one friend as good as them. Again, forget about her. She doesn't deserve you.

If I were you I wouldn't forgive her, trust me I've been in the exact same situation and I made the mistake of forgiving my friend and trust me it was a bad decision.

Since she called u "words" and turned the whole school on u and made everyone laugh at u...it's a very simple answer, NO! just because u have been friends for 8 years, she took it to a whole other level by calling u "words" so what's the point in being her friend again.

omg my best friend just did that to me, too!! like, after 8 years. then my mum went over to her house to get something i left, and the next day she apologized. i didn't even respond to the text, and now only 3 people talk to me. so my suggestion is to just ignore her, and maybe she'll go away. she sounds just like my ex best friend, and i ignored her, and now we dont talk anymore.

I realize that it's a difficult thing to do, considering you've been friends for eight years, but listen: Anyone who says something like that to you, asks to be friends again, and then refuses to apologize, is just looking to do it again.

Certainly, you should forgive her. Give her a second chance, but DON'T be her friend again. She obviously doesn't deserve you, and if she's not sorry, then that's her problem. She either has ego issues or she's a total bitch. Either one could be true.

Forgive her, start fresh. But don't go right back to being her friend again. When she's ready to apologize for being a chucklefuck, then start rebuilding some trust. But until then, forgive and forget. And by forget I mean move on.
