Ok, so you have a 5litre bottle and a 3litre bottle, both with no markings. You also have all the water in the world, how do you find 4litres?

Empty the 3 litre bottle
Pour the contents of the 5 litre bottle into the 3 litre bottle
Fill up the 5 litre bottle
Pour some into the 3 litre bottle to fill it up
You are left with 4 litres in the 5 litre bottle:)
